The OnePlus 6T adds a few new features and design changes but is it still a good choice in 2019 Here's our full review.
The OnePlus 6T gets lots of plus marks for bringing us a whole lot of cool features!
The in-display fingerprint sensor is, according to OnePlus, the fastest in-display reader in the industry with an unlock time of approximately .34 seconds. That's blink of an eye stuff!
An amazing display for the money: The display on the OnePlus 6T rivals those on more expensive phones thanks to an expansive 6.4-inch AMOLED (2340 x 1080) panel and a less obtrusive dewdrop notch. The slimmer camera cut-out is another smart design idea that makes the display feel almost edge-to-edge.
OnePlus has made all sorts of improvements to their cameras including enhanced HDR and portrait modes and new studio lighting modes that recognize faces and simulate studio-quality lighting. The new Night photography feature is also worthy of mention, giving great results in low light.
Inside the OnePlus 6T is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, with 6GB or 8GB of RAM depending on the model, and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. On the software side of things, the new Smart Boost mode stores app data in memory to improve cold boot times. This means much faster app launch times, with an improvement of up to 25%, depending on the app.
The OnePlus 6T features a big and powerful 3,700mAh battery and fast-charging also makes a return, so you quickly top up your phone when the battery finally starts to run a little low.

This is how I know I'm in a tech bubble: When I'm with colleagues and peers at work, mostly everyone is familiar with OnePlus. But once I step out into daylight, say, when someone at a party asks what I do and then follows that up to ask what phones I like, I'm always caught off guard when they say, "OnePlus who?"
The OnePlus 6T is the most affordable, top-notch Android you can get. But if you already have the 6, don't feel the need to update.
The OnePlus 6T offers top-notch hardware including a lightning-speed processor and an excellent camera for hundreds of dollars less than its competitors; For US customers, it works on Verizon's network.
The phone doesn't have a headphone jack or a water-resistant design; Its in-screen fingerprint reader should work a tad faster.
This affordable Android flagship sports a lightning-fast in-display fingerprint sensor and powerful performance for half the price of its rivals.
Super-fast in-display fingerprint sensor; Gorgeous display with tiny teardrop notch; Improved camera; T-Mobile support; Android Pie out of the box
No headphone jack; Lacks wireless charging
There's a new OnePlus 6T flagship in town, one uniquely similar and all the while, different from its predecessor. A new and bigger AMOLED panel, with a smaller notch and cutting-edge in-display fingerprint reader, plus a bigger battery pretty much define the upgrade over the OnePlus 6.
The value proposition is still great; Bigger; brighter and overall better display than the OnePlus 6; with a smaller notch; Bigger battery than OnePlus 6; with still snappy 20W DASH charging; Bigger base storage than the OnePlus 6 (128GB; Finally usable in-display fingerprint reader - quicker and...
Following the massive success that was the OnePlus 6, OnePlus has now brought the OnePlus 6T ( starts at Rs. 37,999 ) worldwide. Much like other T-series devices from the company, the OnePlus 6T is a minor upgrade over its predecessor, bringing just a couple of new features in almost the same...
Premium build quality; Great display with a tiny; unobtrusive notch; Top notch performance; Amazing battery life with fast charging; Fast in-display fingerprint scanner; Good software experience; Value for money
No headphone jack; Inconsistent camera performance; In-display fingerprint scanner slows down while using custom wallpapers

OnePlus continues to deliver great hardware and software features with the 6T. However,a sluggish in-display fingerprint reader and the controversial decision to remove the headphone jack might give you pause. The 6T would have otherwise been a fitting successor to the highly praised 6.
OnePlus continues to refine its formula for the perfect smartphone, and the OnePlus 6T is the closest yet.
Refined design; Competitive price; Great performance; Improved camera; Wider network compatibility
Fingerprint sensor isn't always reliable; No headphone jack; Camera app isn't intuitive
There's a lot to like about the OnePlus 6T, even if it's not a huge update
In-display fingerprint scanner is cool and futuristic; New teardrop notch design is elegant and attractive; Fantastic battery life
Goodbye headphone jack; Haptics could be significantly better; Thicker and rounder than the OnePlus 6
What was good is still good; what was missing is still missing
Immaculate fit and finish; Good ergonomics for a large phone; Buttery-smooth performance; Pretty display; Strong battery life
Camera remains mediocre; In-display fingerprint reader is inconsistent; Lacks wireless charging; Still not fully waterproof; Quiet loudspeaker
