OnePlus 6T 6GB 128GB

The OnePlus 6T gets lots of plus marks for bringing us a whole lot of cool features!

Super-fast sensor

The in-display fingerprint sensor is, according to OnePlus, the fastest in-display reader in the industry with an unlock time of approximately .34 seconds. That's blink of an eye stuff!

An amazing display for the money: The display on the OnePlus 6T rivals those on more expensive phones thanks to an expansive 6.4-inch AMOLED (2340 x 1080) panel and a less obtrusive dewdrop notch. The slimmer camera cut-out is another smart design idea that makes the display feel almost edge-to-edge.

Cameras to smile about

OnePlus has made all sorts of improvements to their cameras including enhanced HDR and portrait modes and new studio lighting modes that recognize faces and simulate studio-quality lighting. The new Night photography feature is also worthy of mention, giving great results in low light.

Inside information

Inside the OnePlus 6T is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, with 6GB or 8GB of RAM depending on the model, and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. On the software side of things, the new Smart Boost mode stores app data in memory to improve cold boot times. This means much faster app launch times, with an improvement of up to 25%, depending on the app.

A plus-sized battery

The OnePlus 6T features a big and powerful 3,700mAh battery and fast-charging also makes a return, so you quickly top up your phone when the battery finally starts to run a little low.

OnePlus 6T

The OnePlus 6T brings a smaller notch, bigger battery and an in-display fingerprint sensor, but is that enough to warrant an upgrade

Better display; Longer battery life; As fast as it gets in the Android ecosystem

In-display fingerprint works eight out of ten times; No 3.5mm headphone jack; Secondary camera has no real use whatsoever

OnePlus 6T review

OnePlus has reiterated at several occasions that the 'T' variants of their handsets are not successors but just an update to the existing lineup. If we ignore OnePlus' values for a minute and look at the OnePlus 6T as a new device, there's hardly any flaw at Rs 37,999.

Great battery life; Fluid performance; Top-end design; Impressive rear camera

No headphone jack; 'Only' full HD resolution; No microSD card slot

It started off as the brand which offered users flagship level hardware and innovative design and software at surprisingly affordable prices. But subsequent years have seen OnePlus slowly but steadily step away from budget seas and start dipping its toes into premium lakes.

OnePlus 6T review: revised formula, same results

What was good is still good; what was missing is still missing

Immaculate fit and finish; Good ergonomics for a large phone; Buttery-smooth performance; Pretty display; Strong battery life

Camera remains mediocre; In-display fingerprint reader is inconsistent; Lacks wireless charging; Still not fully waterproof; Quiet loudspeaker

OnePlus 6T Review: The No Bullshit Best Deal In Smartphones

Since its inception, OnePlus has danced around the fringes of the smartphone market, catering to nerds and enthusiasts with spec-laden devices for reasonable prices. And unlike the Apples and the Samsungs of the world, OnePlus has thrived even though it really only makes one product a year,...

For all the new features of the OnePlus 6T, there are some significant losses. Sure, waterdrop notches are now in fashion, and the in-screen fingerprint sensor is great for showing off, but neither of them necessarily represent any improvement over the functionality, usability, or power of the...

OnePlus 6T Amazing value with an even more amazing fingerprint reader

Today, OnePlus is announcing its newest flagship smartphone and lifting the review embargo. The OnePlus 6T is a mid-cycle update to the OnePlus 6, so while the specs haven't moved much, you do get plenty of upgrades.

The new "teardrop" notch design is the best execution of a notch we've seen so far; It's only as big as it needs to be, The on-screen fingerprint reader works great for a first-gen product, and it's just so cool, A great Android loadout: stock-ish Android with lots of options, The best Android...

A fragile, all-glass body, No wireless charging, No headphone jack, No always-on ambient display, Only bi-monthly security updates Come on OnePlus; Keep up
