OnePlus 6T 6GB 128GB

The OnePlus 6T gets lots of plus marks for bringing us a whole lot of cool features!

Super-fast sensor

The in-display fingerprint sensor is, according to OnePlus, the fastest in-display reader in the industry with an unlock time of approximately .34 seconds. That's blink of an eye stuff!

An amazing display for the money: The display on the OnePlus 6T rivals those on more expensive phones thanks to an expansive 6.4-inch AMOLED (2340 x 1080) panel and a less obtrusive dewdrop notch. The slimmer camera cut-out is another smart design idea that makes the display feel almost edge-to-edge.

Cameras to smile about

OnePlus has made all sorts of improvements to their cameras including enhanced HDR and portrait modes and new studio lighting modes that recognize faces and simulate studio-quality lighting. The new Night photography feature is also worthy of mention, giving great results in low light.

Inside information

Inside the OnePlus 6T is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, with 6GB or 8GB of RAM depending on the model, and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. On the software side of things, the new Smart Boost mode stores app data in memory to improve cold boot times. This means much faster app launch times, with an improvement of up to 25%, depending on the app.

A plus-sized battery

The OnePlus 6T features a big and powerful 3,700mAh battery and fast-charging also makes a return, so you quickly top up your phone when the battery finally starts to run a little low.

OnePlus 6T review: The flagship killer gets a face lift

With the 'Never Settle' mantra, every year, OnePlus further fine-tunes its tried-and-tested recipe for producing a smartphone with top-shelf specs at a competitive price ratio, filled to the brim with flagship features.

OnePlus 6T Review: It's Almost Perfect

Following the massive success that was the OnePlus 6, OnePlus has now brought the OnePlus 6T ( starts at Rs. 37,999 ) worldwide. Much like other T-series devices from the company, the OnePlus 6T is a minor upgrade over its predecessor, bringing just a couple of new features in almost the same...

Premium build quality; Great display with a tiny; unobtrusive notch; Top notch performance; Amazing battery life with fast charging; Fast in-display fingerprint scanner; Good software experience; Value for money

No headphone jack; Inconsistent camera performance; In-display fingerprint scanner slows down while using custom wallpapers

OnePlus 6T review: a technically impressive, if iterative update of one of 2018's fastest phones

I rather liked the OnePlus 6 on review , with me praising its "absolutely atomic" speed, and "benchmark scores that absolutely smoke rival flagships". Fast forward almost six months and OnePlus has returned with its usual mid-year update of the device in the form of the OnePlus 6T.

Very fast; On trend in-screen fingerprint reader; Optic AMOLED screen is big and has a small notch; Android 9.0 Pie out of the box; Comprehensive in-box package of accessories

Battery capacity remains good not great; Camera system has not moved on much from the OnePlus 6; Still no wireless charging functionality; Water resistant; but not IP67/68 certified

Starting at $549, OnePlus' latest flagship is still one of the best deals you can get on a smartphone right now. No other manufacturer has perfected the marriage of hardware and software quite as well as OnePlus, and even Google is still having issues optimizing its vision of Android for its...

OxygenOS is still awesome Fantastic battery life Small notch is a plus Smart software takes advantage of extra memory Available in T-Mobile stores

Fake speaker grill replaces the headphone jack Thicker than the OnePlus 6 In-screen fingerprint reader is fairly slow and inconsistent

OnePlus 6T review: Still the affordable handset to beat

When it comes to flagship phones, OnePlus has established a two-device-a-year strategy. Similar to Apple's ‘S' branded, OnePlus' ‘T' phones aim to offer a refined experience on their immediate predecessors.

New fingerprint sensor feels cutting-edge; Up-to-date; versatile OS; Fast Charge is still great; Sleek; premium design; Great performance; Great battery life

Camera's Nightscape mode needs work; Another headphone jack bites the dust; Fingerprint sensor needs refinement; Poor audio capabilities

OnePlus 6T review: the latest iteration is the best yet

It's no surprise: OnePlus has announced its new smartphone, and as tradition has it, it's called the OnePlus 6T. Although the device won't bring on a revolution, the Chinese manufacturer's new flagship now features an in-display fingerprint reader, a bigger battery and a more discreet notch.

Discreet notch; Excellent performance; Good battery life; In-display fingerprint reader; Great camera

No stereo sound; No IP certification; No mini-jack port; Lackluster night mode

OnePlus 6T review: Stellar performance without the cost

Over the past few years we've seen OnePlus change from a company that only releases phones with features that its passionate community want, into one that's trying to appeal to the general consumer.

Speedy performance; Fast charging battery; Feels great in hand; Battery comfortably lasts a day; Runs Android Pie out of the box

Low light camera results not always great; Design could be more exciting; Getting more pricey; Front camera isn't very good

OnePlus 6T review: Getting better all the time

No big surprises here then: the OnePlus 6T is another fine phone from the company and is sure to take a deserved spot in our best smartphones list until it's inevitably replaced by the OnePlus 7 in 2019.

Unbeatable performance; Competitively priced; In-screen fingerprint reader works well

The 3.5mm headphone jack is no more; Other cheaper phones on the horizon

OnePlus 6T Review : Clawing its way to the top

This week we're taking a look at the OnePlus 6T, the second of the company's yearly smartphone duo. The OnePlus 6T isn't the same as previous "tock" phones in the OnePlus "tick tock" strategy.

Ideal software: Only helpful mods made to Android; Battery lasts all day; easily; Display is bright and colorful; size is ideal; Notch is least obtrusive notch in the industry; OnePlus-made cases are top-notch: Red silicone case shown

Lacks headphone jack; provided dongle is basic; Ever-so-slightly thicker than OnePlus 6; No microSD expandable storage slot; Not waterproof; No wireless charging

OnePlus 6T review: A flagship, no asterisk necessary

Good specs in a (relatively) cheap package has been OnePlus' schtick since the original OnePlus One, and with few flops it's stuck to that formula, bringing us to the OnePlus 6T .

Screen One can quibble about resolution; but the panel quality is great; Camera Low-light performance has improved a lot; Design Smaller notch and chin will please the picky; shape still feels comfortable; Software Oxygen OS is still close to stock; and it's still great; Price $549 is one of the...

Headphone Jack It doesn't have one; , Design, again Doesn't bother me, but many dislike glass backs, especially without wireless charging, Speakers Not the best sound, Water resistance Still no official IP rating, Price, again $549 also represents a bump for the cheapest model (though it has double...
