OnePlus 6T 6GB 128GB

The OnePlus 6T gets lots of plus marks for bringing us a whole lot of cool features!

Super-fast sensor

The in-display fingerprint sensor is, according to OnePlus, the fastest in-display reader in the industry with an unlock time of approximately .34 seconds. That's blink of an eye stuff!

An amazing display for the money: The display on the OnePlus 6T rivals those on more expensive phones thanks to an expansive 6.4-inch AMOLED (2340 x 1080) panel and a less obtrusive dewdrop notch. The slimmer camera cut-out is another smart design idea that makes the display feel almost edge-to-edge.

Cameras to smile about

OnePlus has made all sorts of improvements to their cameras including enhanced HDR and portrait modes and new studio lighting modes that recognize faces and simulate studio-quality lighting. The new Night photography feature is also worthy of mention, giving great results in low light.

Inside information

Inside the OnePlus 6T is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, with 6GB or 8GB of RAM depending on the model, and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. On the software side of things, the new Smart Boost mode stores app data in memory to improve cold boot times. This means much faster app launch times, with an improvement of up to 25%, depending on the app.

A plus-sized battery

The OnePlus 6T features a big and powerful 3,700mAh battery and fast-charging also makes a return, so you quickly top up your phone when the battery finally starts to run a little low.

OnePlus 6T review: A hero phone without the sky-high price

This is how I know I'm in a tech bubble: When I'm with colleagues and peers at work, mostly everyone is familiar with OnePlus. But once I step out into daylight, say, when someone at a party asks what I do and then follows that up to ask what phones I like, I'm always caught off guard when they say, "OnePlus who?"

The OnePlus 6T is the most affordable, top-notch Android you can get. But if you already have the 6, don't feel the need to update.

The OnePlus 6T offers top-notch hardware including a lightning-speed processor and an excellent camera for hundreds of dollars less than its competitors; For US customers, it works on Verizon's network.

The phone doesn't have a headphone jack or a water-resistant design; Its in-screen fingerprint reader should work a tad faster.

OnePlus 6T review: Still the best value around

'Incremental upgrade' is the label we'd be tempted to give the OnePlus 6T - but that would be doing it a disservice. It may not be perfect, but you can spend a lot more to get a slightly better camera and sharper screen and not necessarily notice the difference.

Solid specs for a competitive price; Lovely design; Longer battery life

Small evolution on the OnePlus 6; No standout features; Display is still only FHD

OnePlus 6T review: Android's rebel phone goes mainstream-with a punkish purple streak

OnePlus sure knows how to make an entrance. Arriving at the tail end of a jam-packed Android season that included nothing less than the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 , LG V40 ThinQ , Google Pixel 3 , and the Huawei Mate 20 Pro , the OnePlus 6T could have easily been a victim of flagship fatigue.

OnePlus 6T review: Android's rebel phone goes mainstream-with a punkish purple streak

The 6T is the perfect phone for OnePlus's first carrier partnership, with great specs, a gorgeous design, and the same low price.

Gorgeous design with a fantastic purple gradient option; Excellent specs; battery; and display; Low price as always

Camera is still unremarkable; No wireless charging; headphone jack; or water resistance

OnePlus 6T review: Outstanding reception, solid battery life, and extremely fast performance make this one to buy

Major flagship smartphones have now set an entry level price of $1,000 or more, but you can still find phones that more than satisfy your needs for much less. Extremely responsive; Latest and greatest Android software; Outstanding RF performance; Solid battery life; Low price

No official water/dust resistant rating; No wireless charging

Phenomenal. If your not into the note9, whitch is what I had before this, this is the phone for you...way better camera than the note 9...other than that the same phone but without the spen. Now, don't get me wrong, the note series is my go to phone but OnePlus is exceeding them

Ignore the nay sayers...

Whilst everyone is entitled to their opinion, I believe some of the reviews posted so far are skewed...this is a phone under £500 and what you get for that is nothing short of exceptional when you compare it to other phones (and their cost) on the market.
