Great value and Excellent Quality

Used primarily for taking macro photos for metal and jewelry, this lens easily does what it advertises. At half the price of the other options and easily changed out, we couldn't ask for more.

Excellent Lens

This makes a huge difference for close-ups. This is a standard four thirds lens (not micro four thirds), which I use with a micro four thirds-to-four thirds converter, on an EM-1 body, and all controls work perfectly (i.e., auto focus and other controls). The quality of the photos is excellent, too.

Don't waste your money

Broke down after very few uses, would not focus. Sent for repair at Olympus came back with the same fault, returned to Olympus for second repair lasted two shots, gave up with this very poor lens.

Olympus Digital Zuiko 35mm f/3.5 macro - Review / Lens Test Report

The Olympus Zuiko Digital 35mm f/3.5 macro is one of the most affordable macro lenses around and we aren't talking about a third party lens here but about a product from a genuine manufacturer. The reason for the rather low price point is, of course, the comparatively slow speed of the lens. A max.

Olympus' Zuiko Digital 35mm f/3.5 Macro And Macro Flash; Versatility For Close-Up Shots

When I first heard about a 35mm focal length macro lens my mouth began to water. The $229 price tag was an immediate inducement, as were the compactness and lightweight of this glass. What threw me, though, was the focal length.
