Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II

Olympus has always impressed with its OM-D line of mirrorless cameras . They feature chic, retro-inspired styling, excellent ergonomics, integrated EVFs, and cutting edge features.

Compact, but comfortable to use; Large, sharp EVF; Tilting touch-screen display; 8.6fps continuous shooting; Built-in flash; 5-axis stabilization system; Wi-Fi

Accurate tracking requires slower burst rate; Wacky power switch; No mic input

disappointed

Disappointed in a few things. First off Amazon does NOT make it clear that the EZ is the smaller and more desirable lens. The less expensive one is very big and has locks before you can use it so if you want to take a quick shot of something- good luck!

When this camera was announced I, like most gearhead photographers, dismissed it as a beginner camera. Technically it is near the bottom of the brand's order, but nevertheless this camera does almost everything right. Size, features, performance and price are all noteworthy.

4.0 out of 5 starsExcellent camera, premium feel but complex menu and functions

I purchased this camera last week and been using it ever since. I love it. the size, the weight is just perfect. I take it every. I use to have a Canon 60D, the camera is a great, but it's way too large and heavy for me to carry around. this is so portable, it's just perfect.

A truly amazing camera, why would you need anything else

I traded in my Pentax K3 a 24mp APS-C DSLR for this tiny, compact Olympus OM-D10ii, a Micro Four Thirds 16mp Mirrorless camera........and I don't regret it at all! This package came with two budget lenses, two incredibly small and lightweight lenses, the combined weight of all that was considerably...

Great Features; Great Picture Quality; Lightweight

OM-D E-M10 Mark II Bundle

Great camera - seriously high quality. The EZ lens is a huge improvement over the older version.

Great camera - seriously high quality; The EZ lens is a huge improvement over the older version

Most of the stuff in the bundle is cheap quality, and I threw it out; I did some testing of the UV filters, and there was terrible degradation in quality; Same with the bonus lenses - really poor quality crap; The tripod is decent, but super light and a bit shaky.

Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II

The Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II joins the ranks of cameras such as the Panasonic Lumix G7 and Fujifilm X-T10 whose manufacturers hope to lure entry-level dSLR buyers away from bread-and-butter models like the Nikon D5500 and Canon EOS Rebel T5i/700D .

The OM-D E-M10 Mark II offers some unique but useful features in a smaller-than-a-dSLR design

The grip could be bigger and its continuous shooting can't keep up with the competition; Plus, you really need to read the manual unless you're running on full auto

Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II

The Olympus E-M10 Mark II is the second-generation base OM-D which overtakes some features from the rest of the series. A revised anti-alias-filter-free 16 MP CMOS sensor and new processor allows this digital camera to produce images with richer details than any Micro Four-Thirds camera to date...

Very low image noise; Excellent retention of details; Reliable metering; Good Automatic White-Balance; Excellent built-in 5-axis stabilization; Virtually no shutter-lag; Fast contrast-detect AF; Fast shot-to-shot speed; Very responsive; Solid build quality

Some color inaccuracy; Dynamic-range below other mirrorless; Highly modal interface; Not always Exposure-Priority; Limited EVF and LCD contrast and view-angle; 1s filming delay; Overly complex menu; Uncomfortable eyelets; Short battery-life

Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II Review: Ultimate Control

The Olympus O-MD E-M10 Mark II is a solid choice for experienced photographers - pros and amateur enthusiasts alike - who want a small camera that doesn't skimp on features, performance or image quality.

Extensive/sophisticated feature set; Most buttons are customizable; Top-notch image quality; Good performance

Features/dials/buttons can be overwhelming; Continuous AF/tracking accuracy is erratic; No 4K video
