hi At first, it works for me; however, the struggle is real because it needs to be placed correctly. With a little bit of effort, it is ok but too much push power might damage the slot. Check youtube for clearer instructions

I bought it, had it installed, it worked, and it has kept working... What more could I ask for :) Plus I’ve now got loads of spare hard drive capacity!!

I purchased this for a MacBook Air in order to fit a decent sized Windows installation (with software) on my otherwise shrinking disk. Unfortunately this drive is not compatible with bootcamp on my model of MacBook. Check this before buying.

I hadn’t done an upgrade to a SSD in a MacBook before. Instructions were clear, all went well. Note: take caution about what Mac OS version you have installed and what you need to do with an older version to make this work.
