NZXT H500 Vault Boy Review
With the iconic Vault Boy giving a big thumbs-up on the side of the case and more Fallout branding and logos adorning the front and sides, NZXT's $164.99 H500 Vault Boy case is a bold piece of Fallout memorabilia that any fan of the hyper-popular PC game series would love to own. Although this full-ATX-size PC case stands out for the Fallout decor, it also has to fill its practical role as the foundation for a PC built inside. Does it have what it takes to compete as a case on its own merits? It's built on many of the strengths of NZXT's long-running H-series cases, so it's no surprise that the answer is an emphatic yes, though it is a bit pricey for the underlying features. Even so, we mirror Vault Boy's gesture of approval.
Oh Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Vault Boy
This case's claim for your bucks is the bold image of Vault Boy on the case's right side panel, though the unusual paint job will grab your attention, too. Most modern cases we see are black, white, or a subdued shade ...
We'd give it a thumbs-up, too: For Fallout fans, the limited-run H500 Vault Boy is a one-of-a-kind upgrader's or builder's PC chassis, based on some solid NZXT bones.
