Clearly hoping to capitalize on the success of the N95, Nokia's upgraded it to 8GB. Frankly there's little sense in reviewing the phone from scratch as it's similar to its predecessor in a lot of ways, and much has been written about the earlier model.
I do own one of these phones and have for a couple of weeks. Reading certain reviews about it crashing are untrue in my case, ive thrown endless amounts of music, downloaded videos (up to 30mins per video), my own recordings on it and it handles them perfect.
The Nokia N95 brings a lot to the table. In our opinion, it trumps even the slickness of the iPhone and outpaces the technology of the soon-to-be-released Blackberry 8830.
We enjoyed using the Nokia N95. The Nokia N95 is the first phone we've seen in a while that does a great job at combining style with function. But the Nokia N95's hefty £549 price tag is off-putting.
This is the phone that killed Nokia. They marketed it with plenty of false comments and downright lies - the phone turned out to an illogical mess without any synchronicity or man-machine thought process built-in - the functionality was a nightmare to work with - nothing made sense - this left...
The N95 combines satellite navigation, a cutting-edge 5-megapixel camera, a media player and PDA functions in a handset that somehow isn't the size of a brick.
GPS on the fly; Huge colour screen; Good 5-megapixel photos; Unbeatable connectivity
Sluggish menus; A few bugs and crashes; Average MP3 playback; High price
Since its announcement last September, the Nokia N95 has been eagerly awaited. Its specifications were outstanding and it was a reasonable size for an N-series phone. Earlier N phones had threatened to tear your pocket apart at the seams, but not this one.
I had a nokia n95 before but cracked the screen , could not replace it, got a new touch screen phone but not happy with that, so i searched ebay for a new phone and found one like my old one good old EBAY**
As ever, Nokia's flagship phone is a top pick, even though the N95 family is now 1 year old. Nokia keeps tweaking a good thing and the new kid on the block N95-4 model is still rife with cutting edge technology.
