The Nokia brand may never again be as huge as it was in the 1990s, but new owner HMD is building up a solid line-up of Android handsets – and the Nokia 7 Plus is perhaps its most persuasive offering yet.

The Nokia 7 Plus is one of Nokia's biggest phones, physically. And, arguably, one of its most important phones. It's positioned towards the middle of Nokia's pack, offering a little more than the Nokia 6.1, but not reaching up to the flagship Nokia 8 grade.

The Nokia 7 Plus is one of the better mid-range phones on the market and has one of the best cameras on a device of its price. The design is close to premium in feel and the display is top notch (without an actual notch).

The Nokia 7 Plus hits all the right spots, an important quality for a mid-ranger. While it doesn't excel at any one particular area, it delivered good performance, images, has a nice build for the price and has solid day and a half battery life.

The Nokia 7 Plus is the most compelling phone from the Finnish brand in a long time. It's a return to form, if you will, of a brand once known for leading the cellphone market.

Maybe it’s just me, but it often feels like the half-a-dozen devices that HMD have now shipped to smartphone buyers in the years since they took control of the Nokia brand are all beginning to blur into one another.

Even if it’s a little predictable, not every purchase needs a twist. Sometimes you want something that works as intended, and the Nokia 7 Plus fits that mold nicely.

The Nokia brand lives through HMD Global, the Finnish mobile phone company that now produces feature phones and smartphones under the famous brand. The newly launched in New Zealand Nokia 6.1 and Nokia 7 Plus are part of the second wave of Android-based smartphones and it is kind of a big deal.

The new Nokia 7 Plus is quite a dominating smartphone with huge design and immersive display, smooth processor coupled with gaming prowess, out of class camera performances and ample battery strength. At Rs 25,999, the Nokia 7 Plus dominates the chart at our end.

Nokia is slowly gaining ground again in the smartphone market with frequent releases of new devices. The once proud leader of the mobile scene has since proven that it still have what it takes.

The Nokia 7 Plus is about as sincere a phone as you'll get in 2018, but it does have flaws. The camera experience could be better, while the outdoor usage experience is average at best. But beyond that, the phone offers near-flagship level specs for nearly half the price.
