Noel Leemings Westfield St Lukes December 20th 2016 half of the staff were standing around talking my self and other customers were waiting to be assisted but with no luck until we approached them to look at an item, I'm sorry to say the service wasn't great when ask to look at something he tells me we have none in stock, so ask to look in the system if other stores have them, he said no? then walked off to back room never came back, anyways I ended up finding that item at the Henderson branch .

First and only time I went in the store I got ignored by all of the staff and left the store, cash in hand. Very disappointed!

Great customer service from Shaun today, who is very friendly yet professional in providing information on the product that my family was considering to purchase. Yes, we were able to buy an excellent laptop with Shaun's great help! Cheers to Noel Leeming WestField Riccarton Branch!

bought washing machine on a Sat at Henderson. Knew there wasn't one in store, but was informed one was available at another store warehouse that would be delivered following Sat.They requested my home number for driver to ring me Sat .Next Sat 11.30 I finally rang them , but their head office could not get anyone to answer call, so left them message to ring me soonest. An hour later I rang again, and this time they were able to get someone only to find out that the item had been ordered on supplier, and had not arrived in their warehouse yet. No-one had bothered to ring me to tell me that I was not going to receive that day. I gave them my cell phone number and work number and insisted they rang me as soon as it arrrived into their store so that I would know if delivery possible for following sat. They did send messages and rang to tell me I would receive and they duly turned up and fitted for me. Wondered where the free bottle of liquid detergent was that was on offer in store. Sent message to Noel leeming but no answer. The people in head office were very nice and helpful but I don't think much of the Henderson store salespeople. Won't shop there again.

Brought a Thomson T1851 HD Freeview from the Moorhouse Ave, Christchurch store during the Bond & Bond take-over weekend. Bond & Bond had it advertised at the lowest price but had sold out, so we went next door & Noel Leeming had it at in stock & at the same price. The salesman gave us good relevent info about the product & also about an amplified, indoor HD antenna we should also consider for an additional bedroom. Anyway, the freeview receiver was great, setup was a breeze, but the one thing that let the purchase down was the remote, the lay out of buttons was atrocious. Also the remote battery door thingy had snapped off. We rang Noel Leeming straight away & they said to bring it in for a replacement, no questions. So, that's what we did the following day. Great stuff Noel!

Most recent was Philips Electric Shaver, on special for $100, a $150 reduction. Very quick service , Product performs well Have made other purchases at the Gisborne store during the past few years. Can't recall any problems . Quality of the service seems to vary between branches.

Have been buying small stuff from them for ages, now bought a TV from their Wellington store *~yay got a new tv~* :) The salesperson had it delivered sooner than promised, and when it went on special at Hardly Normal in two weeks time they covered the difference and than some since I bought the extended warranty ;) The asian fellow also discounted the surge protector quite a bit and threw in a $40 cleaning cloth (yeah... I wouldn't have paid that much myself but the thing is AMAZING!!) Verdict: two thumbs up, my new favorite place to shop!

Just bought a Canon camera online - really impressed by the great price and how easy and convenient it was to have it delivered. I knew what I wanted and didn't have to waste time going in store. Awesome service!

I "brought" a camera. It was displayed in store yet they didn't have any so it would be delivered in store in a week. One week past and there was still no camera or word from them so we rang up. They said they didn't know when it would be in, We asked if they could ring us the next day to let us know. They didn't ring. We rang them after waiting 2 days and then they tell us that the camera I had order is no longer getting made in the colour I ordered it. I thought this was weird and wondered why they are still advertising it. I checked the canon website and there it was. The colour I wanted. The make I wanted. Still for sale on the CANON website. So for Noel Lemmings to lie to me and say that they weren't making it anymore is a shocker! I haven't been able to go into Noel Lemmings and ask for my money back yet but hopefully they'll give it back in full and not have any little hidden costs to get my money back. shame on you Noel Lemming.

We asked for a bundled package, more importantly asked if laptop in stock as required same day. Informed all items in stock as per in store computer. Accepted package and paid in full $2400. All items brought to counter except laptop ? We were passed on to another lady who was made aware of the situation and she disappeared and was never seen again? The original sales person then came back to us and informed us that they in fact didn't have the laptop in stock! The sales person explained that this wasn't a problem as they could order one in or us. I informed the salesperson that the reason I asked if they had one in stock was that we required the laptop today. The store manager ( i presume he didn't say) said that the laptop shown in the shop computer was given to a customer that purchased a cheaper version had been given the one shown in the store computer by mistake. I asked if another store had the model of laptop we wanted. They checked, rang the other store and said we could pick it up from them it was all arranged. We asked if there was anyone in particular we should talk to, we were told not to worry anyone would do. We had been in that store over 1 hour while this customer service scenario was played out. We are patient people and understand anomalies can occur. We arrived at the only other Noel Leeming store in Tauranga and approached the counter, We showed the salesperson the receipt of purchase, he said i will check if we have one and went to the back and retrieved the product gave it to my wife said its a good one and thanks and just turned around and walked away. We went away marveling at the whole experience. Customers for life- no chance. Future purchases- no chance. Do the sales people require product and sales training -without doubt. There was no excuse for the lady that disappeared she told us she had worked for them for 13 years........ maybe she was the store manager?

Purchased an ipod touch with an extended 3 year warranty. Within 2 weeks the ipod "froze" , so returned to the store with it for service/exchange. i was first told that I should go home and visit the apple website for trouble-shooting, then when we tried to access the website in store (it was no longer accessible) I was told that I had to sign a contract that basically said if the ipod was deemed an "un-necessary repair that i would pay costs. It was agreed the ipod was unusable, so I consented to sending it off to Apple Servicing for repair. I requested a brand new one since I only owned the current one 2 weeks, but this was denied. Sure enough when the ipod was returned to me, although now in working order, I was handed an invoice for $50 for the "un-necessary repair". When I approached the manager over the absurdity of this he simply replied "I don't really care" and was told that in the future I should "learn to read the fine print". When I submitted a complaint to the head office in Auckland requesting a refund for my $50 charge and a refund on my Extended Warranty, I was sent a letter claiming that the matter was out of their hands since Apple made the charge for repair (interestingly Apple's invoice was only for $40), and that if I wanted a refund I should take it up with the store with whom I made the purchase. Not surprisingly the staff refused to authorize a refund, and the Manager was 'unavailable'. Moral: you can buy the same products (especially ipods) elsewhere (like the Warehouse!) and get refund or exchange when the product malfunctions - no questions asked. And under no circumstances should you ever purchase one of their useless extended warranties.
