repetitive mess with no real exploration

not recommended.

it looks pretty

it has none of the promised features; that annoying achievement message that pops up every five minuets that locks you our of all of your controls until its over; takes about 30 seconds each time the only real goal is to upgrade your stuff so you can upgrade your stuff more efficiently

And that's what we're kind of left with. An explanation that fits the product released. No Man's Sky is a missed opportunity to do something truly epic, and while the final game, when measured moment by moment, showed glimpses of something more than merely ordinary, the final result, was far less...

"Not recommended for pro gamers"

If you are into high graphic games like NFS, Battlefield, or FIFA. i would advice you to rethink before buying this game for PS4 unless you want to prank your friend on his birthday and piss him off everytime he opens this game on his console.

Vast sandbox to explore

Lacks captivating gameplay

Game Review: No Man's Sky

I don't know what I'm doing. I'm on a planet with a crashed ship, a cryptic message about following some kind of path, some weird rocks and a bunch of animals. I need to try and find some fuel and other things to patch up my ship to get the heck off this world.

Very relaxing; Beautiful at times; Lots to do; Inventing names for things is fun; The lore can be intriguing; Procedural generation creates some great things

Starship dogfights aren't great; Definitely not for everyone; Not much in the way of traditional story telling; Not all planets are interesting; Procedural generation brings up a lot of similar things; Star map is clunky to navigate back to places you've been

No Man's Sky review | No Man's Sky PS4 review | No Man's Sky PC review

No Man's Sky is a confusing game to say the least. The four pillars of the game – survival, exploration, trading and combat – provide players with a lot to do, from upgrading your ship, equipment and exosuit to discovering exotic, out of this world animals and everything in between, but it lacks a...

Where to begin... Where/when does it end

This is probably going to be one of the most difficult reviews to write that I ever have written before. I had gotten extremely excited for this game once it was first announced, roughly a year and a half ago.

No Man's Sky Review: A Beautiful Universe with No End

No Man's Sky is a game about solitude and survival. The trouble is, many people expected a multi-player party in space, but the procedurally generated space adventure from Hello Games doesn't deliver that part of the bargain.

Just bought this. Disappointed that the HDMi Lead broken, so had to go and purchase another one before we could use it.

So many times it's been asked: What do you do in No Man's Sky? As it turns out, you do a lot. And then sometimes: not a whole lot. No Man's Sky is science fiction, with particular emphasis on the fiction. This isn't a simulation of a universe so much as it's a mathematical probability simulator.

No Man's Sky (PlayStation 4) Review

No Man's Sky can easily be identified by its open, vivid landscapes, and generally stunning visuals. It's, undoubtedly, one of the most visually spectacular experiences available on current gen hardware, and it's definitely one of the strongest points in the overall design.
