Coming from using a 3DS XL previosuly this little console is perfect, amazing price and a bit lighter than my 3DS so it's easier to carry around with me. Can't fault it for the price.

BOUGHT FOR MY STEP SON.HE LOVED IT AND FOUND IT ENTERTAINING
I received one, but the screen wasn't firm and would wobble with the slightest tug. So i replaced it and got another one. The screen still wobbles abit
In Nintendo's seemingly never-ending mission to keep the DS line fresh, they have unveiled and released the latest DS variant – the New Nintendo 2DS XL . In terms of dedicated handheld gaming devices, the 3DS line is essentially uncontested.
2 Damn Sexy; Smaller & Lighter than New Nintendo 3DS XL; Cheaper than New Nintendo 3DS XL
No 3D Functionality; Small stylus; Awkward flap blocking Game Cards; C-Stick still sucks
We're used to Nintendo's crazy ideas now. A mushroom-guzzling Italian? Sounds great. Motion-controlled bowling? Sure. Scales that can be used in a video game? Weird, but OK.
The Nintendo Switch exists, and is a fantastic gaming system that you can, in a pinch, play in a bar, a car, or on the train. Phones exist too, and the games on them are better than ever. So why the hell should you own anything else? Because games.
This product is awesome and I am very happy with it.
With the Switch , Nintendo seems to have a bona fide hit on its hands: It's still all but impossible to find in stores, and a promising new slate of games shown at the E3 gaming show has only ramped up interest.
The New Nintendo 2DS XL is basically a 3DS XL, minus the 3D, with a slightly improved design; It gives you access to a huge library of great games, including past DS, NES and SNES classics
The tiny stylus is very awkward to use; There's little new here for anyone who already has a 3DS in their bag
So to start of this is an awesome handheld. It has lots of games to play, and the graphics are pretty good. They don't compare to Xbox 1 or PS4 graphics, or the Switch, but if your not looking for a console with perfect graphics these are pretty good, and are definitely a improvement over the DS...
Outside of those two problems, this is everything that a New 3DS XL has to offer at a price of $50 less. As I stated above, New 2DS XL is the midrange 3DS model that many fans have wanted for years now. It's not a budget model like 2DS, nor is it an outright luxury item like New 3DS XL.
