can't love it enough. It's a great upgrade for Nikon D750. Also surprised to receive a 64 gb XQD as a gift.

Nikon Z7 review

There’s no denying that the Nikon high-end Z7 is capable of incredible image quality. The new mount is an exciting prospect for a slew of new lenses we cannot wait to get our hands on the 58mm f/0.95. At £3399, it’s an investment for sure, but the image quality from the 45.7MP sensor, 493-point and super speedy AF system, we reckon the Z7 won’t disappoint. On top of that, you get 9fps burst shooting, an awesomely high-resolution 3.6-million dot display EVF and fast 60p refresh rates. And the only negative I can see at this stage is perhaps only having one card slot and the average battery. The chunkier-handed might struggle a tad with the tightly compact nature of the camera, specifically when reaching the function buttons at the front. But what’s really important? The fact that the Z7 is an all-round fantastic camera to use. That reassuring and comfortable grip means the Nikon Z7 fits in the hand like it belongs there and for those who already know and love their Nikon, it's probably the best choice. Coming so late to game means that the Sony arIII might have the edge in terms of price-point and battery life, but for photographers after a high resolution shooter, we’re almost certain that the Z7 would be a solid decision.

Stunning image quality ; Great EVF; Compatible with many other lenses ; Ergonomic and sturdy design ;

Expensive; Battery life isn't the best ; XQD cards will be impractical for some ;

Nikon Z7 Review

After years of speculating whether Nikon would actually make an advanced mirrorless camera, we finally have the answer in the new full-frame Z7 and Z6 . While these aren't Nikon's first attempts at a mirrorless camera (that was the Nikon 1 series, which the company recently ended), they are the...

Nikon Z7 review so far

The Nikon Z7 is a high-end full-frame mirrorless camera that jointly launches the Z-system alongside its more affordable, faster but lower resolution sibling, the Z6. The Z7 enters an established and fiercely competitive market, aiming squarely at the Sony Alpha A7r Mark III and essentially matching...

It's absolute pandemonium in the mirrorless world as we gear up for Photokina 2018 to be held in Cologne, Germany in a couple of weeks' time. Ahead of the official launch, Nikon Singapore invited a round-table of journalists from eight publications to a closed-door hands-on session of their new Z7...

has a whole lot going for it: except, you know, the single card slot and a card format that almost no photographer uses. But at the heart, there is a 45.7MP BSI full frame sensor capable of producing incredibly crisp images.

Nikon Z7 First Look

One half of Nikon's new full-frame mirrorless camera duo, the Z7 is the power couple's high resolution model with a 45.7-megapixel sensor. It's aimed at professionals and has a price tag to match. In terms of body design and usability, the Z7 is identical to the more affordable Z6.

Shooting Photos With Nikon's Z7 Mirrorless Camera Is Fun As Hell

After all the rumours and build up, Nikon's first pro-grade mirrorless camera is finally here. And while I got a brief chance to handle the new Nikon Z7 and play around with its various knobs, dials, and adapters ahead of its announcement, I hadn't actually had a chance to snap some pictures with...

Our vision has always been to create cameras and lenses that capture more light. More light means more detail. More speed. More possibilities. The Z 7 brings that vision to life (and then some).
