Nikon Z7 review review

Stunning image quality ; Great EVF; Compatible with many other lenses ; Ergonomic and sturdy design ;

Expensive; Battery life isn’t the best ; XQD cards will be impractical for some ;

Totally changed my travel photography experience.

I just got back from a 7,000 mile loop going from southeast states to northwest Montana, first extended trip with my new Z7 and 24-70 f4. I can honestly say it never left my side. Using D800 and 28-70 f2.8 in the past I always weighed (no pun intended) whether to carry the D800/lens/tripod combo or...

can't love it enough. It's a great upgrade for Nikon D750. Also surprised to receive a 64 gb XQD as a gift.

Nikon Z7 Mirrorless Camera Review

As stated at the beginning of this review, the Nikon Z7 and its stablemate the Z6 are two of the best designed full frame mirrorless cameras on the market right now. If you're moving to mirrorless from a DSLR, the Z7/Z6 is the most comfortable camera to get started with, particularly if you're...

Nikon Z7 review

With straight fives for features, build & handling and performance, the Nikon Z7 is an instant classic. It's a superb (and superbly made) mirrorless camera. With straight fives for features, build & handling and performance, the Nikon Z7 is an instant classic.

Very good handling; Great MP/fps balance; Sensor-based VR works well; Superb EVF

Single XQD card slot; Only three S lenses this year; Lenses are pricey on their own

When I bought my first proper DSLR camera a few years back, I wasn't especially fussed about brand but I knew I wanted to go with Nikon.

Slick build quality; Incredible results

Sometimes unreliable autofocus; Only works with QXD storage

Nikon's announcement of its new full-frame mirrorless models has set the camera world alight. You don't have to be a Nikon fan to see why: they mean Sony no longer has the full-frame mirrorless camera market to itself – and with Canon joining the fray with its own full-frame mirrorless competitor,...

High quality camera in a smaller package

For my purposes, which are primarily landscapes and larger, slower moving wildlife - this is a fantastic camera. Image quality on a par with my D850 in a smaller, lighter package. I have heard some griping about the single card slot versus dual, but the absence of doesn't affect me so I don't really...

Small; lighter; the future of Nikon I think

None so far

well made lovely camera

Love the camera for its weight ,photos, video, can crop deeply if required and still get a brilliant photo. Camera is very well made and with the mount can use all your other nikon lenses flawlessly . Kit lens for the Z7 is also excellent and very sharp.

Durable; Great Features; Great Picture Quality; Lightweight; Very versatile especially with the mount; lot of control

learning curve for autofocus tracking

Nikon Z7 review: A stunning ultra-high-end mirrorless camera

Nikon Z7: Nikon's first full-frame mirrorless snapper smashes it out of the park, but boy is it expensive

Incredible image quality; Superbly flexible autofocus; Gorgeous EVF

Single card slot; Mediocre battery life; Very substantial cost
