Nikon Z6 III review - an exquisite all-rounder that’s close to perfection
There’s an awful lot to like about the Nikon Z6 III. If you like to shoot action, sports, wildlife - anything that moves - the new autofocusing and fast frame rate courtesy of that partially stacked sensor is really quite special.
Pros:
- Excellent autofocus, Great handling, Particularly fast frame rates, Impressive video specs, New MP4 Lite file format is smaller and quicker to process
Cons:
- No improvement in resolution, Somewhat expensive, Battery charger not supplied

Nikon Z6 III Review: They Did it Right This Time
When the Nikon Z6 II was announced, I truly felt that it was quite a small update. When we reviewed it , we mostly thought that they gave it new card slots, and that was all. Much time has passed since 2020, when we reviewed the Z6 II.
Pros:
- It feels really nice. If you thought that the Z8 was too big, this is the one you’ll want instead, Semi-stacked sensor, a world’s first for fast readout speeds, Autofocus performance that’s almost like that of the Z8, Nice viewfinder, Dual card slots, Weather resistance, Good high ISO output
Cons:
- We would’ve liked a megapixel count somewhere in the 30’s range, The viewfinder brightness isn’t really all that noticeable, even though it’s nice, I wish it had a sensor shield to protect the sensor when changing lenses

Nikon Z6III
The Nikon Z6III brings many functions of the professional Z8 and Z9 cameras at a lower price. In some areas, it even surpasses them. For example, its new OLED viewfinder is significantly brighter and capable of displaying the large DCI-P3 colour space.
