I'm not a bird watcher or frequent user of binoculars, so spending over $500 for binoculars wasn't my plan. Although the optics have some chromatic aberrations, they are certainly comfortable to use and very good for occasional use. We have enjoyed them since the purchase.

This is our second purchase of this model by Nikon because one set is not enough. We have had the first ones for several years and they do a great job. I take them on day hikes and have even taken them backpacking. They have clear optics and are easy to get a quick focus.

I shoot single shot handguns in IHMSA competition and I normally use a high powered spotting scope on a tripod to spot where my bullets hit steel targets at 50, 100, 150 and 200 meters. I noticed these binoculars on sale one day and compared them to the others on the display.

Bought these for scouting waterfowl and general spotting, and I am rather impressed by the quality coming from sub $200 set of glass! I love this set of glass, i would put these up against my best friends Leupold 10x50 full frame that he spent over $400 on.

I wear verifocals and varifocal contact lens so its hard to get binoculars that work for me. this is the third pair I have purchased and love them - you can focus really close and due to the amount of focus adjustment you have I find I now have no problems and now longer stuck on the end stop - love...

Just recently received these and am very pleased. I use them mostly for bird watching in my yard but plan to take them on my boat in the summer.
