Nikon 18-300

The Nikon AF-S DX 18-300mm f3.5-6.3 is the lens if you just want an all purpose lens especially for travel. Many customers I have spoken to don't want to keep swapping lenses over to avoid missing that special shot or simply for convenience. It has plenty of zoom, compact and not too heavy.

I'm not sure why I waited so long to purchase this lens!

Super cool lens. It's great for taking up close and personal pics from greater distances (eg. wildlife that scares easily). If you're thinking about buying this lens, it will not disappoint.

Excellent and very versatile lens.

This is an excellent lens that I think will be permanently attached to my D7000 camera body for the whole of the summer. Extremely happy with the quality of this product, supplied as new in original sealed and undamaged Nikon packaging.

A very good kit lens

I needed to replace my broken Nikon 18-200 and this seems to fit the bill. I have only had it for a few weeks. I like to quality of Nikon lenses which have given better results than any other lens I have used. It looks an ideal 'do everything' lens which saves the hassle of changing lenses.

My only travel lens!

This lens has traveled with me all over the world and I find it to be my go-to lens for everything. It is light-weight and handles so many different situations. I have updated cameras several times (all Nikon), but this lens continues to be my favorite!

Not Sorry !!!!!!!

You won't be sorry if you purchase this lens. It was either the 18-200 or the 18-300 for me. I made the right choice. To have that extra reach is really good. Just used it to shoot a great fire works show, and it didn't disappoint !! Sharp crisp photos !! Using it on a Nikon D7200.
Pros:
  • It's all GOOD !
Cons:
  • None so far

Now my go to lens

I bought this lens specifically for a recent trip to Tanzania (to avoid inter-changing my two other lenses,18mm - 55mm and 70mm - 200mm) coupled to my D5200. I'm totally impressed by this lens, images are sharp across the entire range as was it's focus and metering response.
Pros:
  • Easy to use
  • Compact
  • Build quality
Cons:
  • Screen size
