Everyday all around lens
I used to bring 3 lenses in my camera bag for my D7000. 18-55mm, 50mm 1.8 and a 55-300mm. I sold my 18-55 & 55-300 and bought this 18-200. Now i have this attached to my cam all the time and a 50mm in my pocket. Its my everyday lens, clear and sharp quality and a good zoom.

In this review we will have a look at how the VR II version of the lens performs on our current DX test camera, the Nikon D7000. The build quality is good, but clearly lower than professional grade Nikkor lenses.

The first thing you notice about the 18-200mm DX lens is that it's rather small for what the specs say it can do. Where the heck is the 200mm and VR stuffed in? After all, this is a lens that's smaller and lighter than most previous mid-range DX zooms Nikon has made.
