"This has immediately become my favourite lens of all time"
I've been taking pictures for an awfully long time, I got my first camera over 45 years ago, and used it at the 1970 Commonwealth Games – my shots were universally rubbish, but I was smitten.- Glorious wide open spaces
- Less than ideal for portraits or sporting events
- also expensive new
Good Quality and Value - Good Purchase
Very good quality optics. Good value. Decent build quality. Authentic product with warranty card included. Made in China. Received package had fair protection for the item. Excellent images, pretty sharp. Expect some distortion, especially around the 10mm end, but nothing that can't be fixed in PP.
10-24 F3.5-5.6
This is a class leader in the ultra wide zoom category. Designed for crop sensor Nikon DSLRs it offers an ultra wide to semi wide focal length range (35mm equivalent of 15mm - 36mm). It delivers fantastic image resolution throughout its entire focal range which is unmatched.
Nikon AF-S 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5G ED DX Review
Nikon's new 10-24mm zoom is mightily similar to the previous 12-24mm version. What Digital Camera reviews the Nikkor AF-S 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5G ED DX lens...- Alternative option for Nikon users
- Slightly too costly
Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 10-24mm f3.5-4.5G ED Lens – Review – 31
Wide Angle The NIKKOR 10-24mm lens is equivalent to 15-36mm in 35mm film terms. This is real-estate wide; not a distorted fish-eye perspective, but sufficiently wide to make the smallest of rooms appear spacious.- Wide angle
- Low distortion
- Manual/automatic focus mode
- No vibration reduction
Nikon AF-S 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5G ED DX Review
The Nikon Nikkor AF-S 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5G ED DX shows little externally difference from the previous 12-24mm version, both being the same size and carrying the same headline specifications; AF-S, IF, DX, with aspherical profiles and ED glass.- Alternative option for Nikon users
- Slightly too costly
Nikon 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5G ED DX AF-S Nikkor
I've had this lens for three years now and it is the lens that is on my camera most of the time. I've taken lots of pictures with it ranging from landscapes to indoors and as a travel walk around. I find it to be sharp and well built - no regrets here.- Sharp
- solid build
- flare
- distortion but fixable
Wide angle for DX cameras
This is Nikon's only real solution for a wide, wide view for the Nikon DX cameras. It is fairly light and not too big. My only complaint is that I wish there was a f2.8 version. Nikon makes one but you got from 10mm to 12mm and double the price. I really wanted the 10mm so I went with this lens.
Awesome lens!
This is one awesome lens! Took it on a NYC photowalk. Got some great shots! Fast auto focus. Anyone considering this lens, don't let the price stop you. It is absolutely worth it!- Consistent Output
- Durable
- Fast / accurate auto-focus
- Strong Construction
Great wide angle
This is the widest angle lens I have ever used and it's a dandy. The zoom is great for interiors, framing is a cinch. Wish the aperture were constant, but overall this lens is an excellent choice. Only done a few landscapes so far but results are promising.- Durable
- Easy To Use
- Reliable
- Bulky
