Great lens
Went on a safari and used this as my only lens. The only drawback is the f-stop when used in early dawn or dusk. Otherwise, the quality of the pictures are excellent and was able to use it in almost all situations.- Fast / accurate auto-focus

Nikkor 28-300mm fx, VRII lens
I use the lens on my Nikon D800 camera. When I first purchased the camera I also included the 50mm, f1.4 prime lens which I used extensively. All my other lenses are DX lenses which significantly reduce the censor's area.- Easily Interchangeable
