I have never owned an ultra-wide-angle lens before. This one intrigued me, especially because of the price. However, I own a D7100, and this lens isn't fully compatible with my camera. I read the comments on the Nikon USA forum, and decided to purchase the lens anyway.

I bought this lens like a couple of weeks back and have used it for Astro Photography and I am pretty much satisfied with this lens performance, It took really amazing pics. I am not sure how to focus to infinity would be been much better if they have that feature on the lens

Haven't done much with it yet since I just got it, but for the extremely low price, so far so good. Not a heavy piece of glass at all, so doesn't add much to the bag as far as added weight. Quality of the photos seems reasonable for the cost.

Just got this lens today and mounted it on my D5200 and it worked perfectly. It is about the size and weight of a 18-55 kit lens. It delivers the wide angles and focuses very quickly without a sound. I took some pictures indoors and outside and am very happy with the image quality.

This is a much better lens than my previous Tamron 10-24 mm lens. Fast focus, lightweight and good crisp definition. Added bonus of VR (VIbration Reduction) - although not sure it is really necessary on such a short focal length lens.

I bought this at the same price from John Lewis to make sure I got a genuine UK model and not a grey import. The lens is fabulous (I have a Nikon D5300), pictures totally sharp with no curvature or apparent optical or chromatic aberrations at the edges.

I have always wanted a super wide angle lens and when I saw this one I thought I would try it. For the price you can't beat it; its small, light and the quality of the optics are pretty good. No it's not a PRO lens so don't expect PRO resolution from it but! It is a fun lens to have.

This lens is superb for landscapes and doesn't need a filter. Super sharp right to the edges. The only negative is the light plastic feel, but don't let that fool you, this lens is fantastic.
