Wife's batteries always required charging (got extras on amazon, but received fakes, serial no. Were same ). I'm more of a widower now since she has to charge these batteries much less often

I bought this to carry with my P900 after missing some photo opportunities due to a low battery that I thought had enough charge left. I prefer to stick with OEM batteries for the piece of mind even though after market's are cheaper.

If you have the Nikon Coolpix P510 or P610 then you need to carry a spare fully charged. If you are actively making a lot of use of the zoom it really chews up the battery. Tip for extending battery life between charges is to use the viewfinder rather than the screen.
