This battery lasts much longer than the original. I'll keep this one in the camera.

Very handy to have a spare battery for the camera.

I have 2 of those batteries and I just returned from a trip where I used my D7500 to take almost 700 pictures (jpg+RAW) and about 15 minutes of video and used up 1/4 of one battery; that battery still shows 3 bars out of 4. This is excellent battery life. Very impressed.

expect only time will tell if it was worth more.This is supposed to be an upgrade to the previous EN-EL15. It costs more, but has the same 100MAH rating. I have no idea why andI guess only time will tell why it cost more.

After reading reviews that buyers made on this, stating that the battery is original, I made a decision to buy. After looking at it carefully (hologram, fonts, color) and comparing with my original EN EL15, I found out that this is not original but a High Quality COPY as same as I bought previously...

One of these went from 40% to nothing in a few minutes, and one of them is now not resetting the shots taken count to zero after I recharge it. The battery did originally reset the number shots taken in the battery menu after I recharged it - so there's something weird going on with this thing.

I am doing a good deal of live view shooting and also a lot of live demonstrations. So it is always important to have a spare battery so during breaks you can put a fresh one in and not have to do it during the action. You always need it otherwise when you can't change it.

I bought this item because the battery that came with my D610 that I bought from Cameta a year ago would no longer hold a charge. This purchase was a replacement.
