When it was released, the Nikon D810 might not, on the face of it, have looked like a terribly exciting camera. But if the D810 seemed unexciting at a casual glance, it's because its key selling points didn't necessarily jump out. The D800 and D800E set a high bar for 'wow!

Upgrade to D800 for landscapes and nature.
I have been in awe of my D800 for the last 4 years, but as a landscape photographer I often want the best definition possible. The lack of an optical low pass filter on the D810 means much sharper images right out of the camera.

Best quality Nikon available right now!
I bought this camera as a replacement to the D4 I was using in my previous employment. That was a great camera - consistent, great ergonomics, predictable image quality, heavy! Having tried a D800 a few years back I found the sharpness unuseable but the D810 is excellent in this regard.

They deliver the product on the next day. This is the 2nd DSLR is bought on souq.com. It is better to buy DSLR here on souq.com than in the malls. The price difference is very big.

Nikon d810
I've owned several Nikons and a couple of medium format cameras over the last 40 years, and this is the best camera I've ever had. It is sharp, fast, and versatile. It takes all of my Nikon lenses and photos are sharp whether fx or dx format. Love this camera!

I bought this a week ago and have not had a chance to use it yet. The box did not contain a manual which should have been in the box, since the box states that it is part of the box.
