The best camera in the world

Having worked through the D range from the D2 onwards, I stuck with the D3X through the D4 as there wasn't enough of a jump to justify the upgrade, but the D5 is definitely worth it.

Durable; Great Features; Great Picture Quality; Simple Controls

Nice upgrade from the D4 / D4s for those who need the speed

The D3 / D3S was a game changer. The D4 / D4s gave me better AF and better resolution. The D5 has better AF, resolution and ISO, 1.5 stops better than my D4. Looking forward to the firmware upgrade I recommend going for the XQD version, for the speed

Incredible

I do nature, automotive, and aviation photography and my god there has never been a better camera to do it on. The clearness of each photo, the focus capabilities, and the over-all feel of the camera is like no other. If you have the opportunity to buy this camera do it.

Had the camera for a few months now. It's big and heavy, but definitely worth dropping by. The battery lasts forever. The camera always catch what you point it at. Awesome good camera! Sure it costs. But according to me who runs his own right it is a good investment.

Nikon D5 review

What a piece of kit. Point the Nikon D5 at unfolding action, hold the AF button down and start shooting and you'll be amazed at its fantastic hit rate. Sharp image after sharp, well-exposed image are pulled at incredible speed onto its memory cards, ready to be published anywhere.

Feels indestructible; Fantastic image quality; World-beating battery life

Cost; cost; cost; No Wi-Fi; Better video modes elsewhere

The 5D is aimed at pros and delivers a performance that won't disappoint them. With improvements to just about every aspect of the D4s, it's a flagship model that demands respect.
