This camera is HORRIBLE
I took a chance on this camera because Nikon is supposed to be a good brand. I have a friend that owns a higher end model which takes wonderful pictures. The pictures I took with the Coolpix were horrible. I used this camera during a weekend trip. None of the indoor pictures came out.

Great camera for the price!
This was a wonderful buy for me! It was fairly priced for one, and it small, sleek and stylish. It doesn't take up much space, and it is very light without feeling cheap. The screen is bright, and the different shooting options are very easy to navigate and set.

not bad...
bought this one for my wife as a gift to replace her aging sony point-and-shoot camera. dont get me wrong sony products are very high on quality. i just want her to have a new camera :) buy it while they still have some in stock it comes with everything a brand new one has...
Pros:
- cheap re-certified product, attractive design, very user friendly camera, slim pocket size and lightweight
- has every function that a basic photographer could ever need

I have bought three of these brand of cameras in the last 10 years and they really are the BEST cameras out there. This is the only brand of camera I will buy and I honestly do swear by them. You get the best quality of pictures and so much more.

Great camera work great for what we use it for.
Great camera We work for the goverment on there housing and we have to take pictures of everything that we do from mowing grass to cleaning houses and also doing repairs. This camera work great for what we use it for.

LOVED it
Bought this camera about two years ago, for a trip in the states, this camera worked amazing. The battery didn't take long to charge, and it lasted for days with a full charge! Pulled it out today as it has been sitting in a box for about 4 months and the battery was still charged!

I shoot zoos and I wanted a small digital to have around my neck to capture people-kids, without changing my 80 200 from my D200 and this is a fun camera to use. I could not have found a better little camera for my use. Problems: No problems,

Nikon COOLPIX S3000
The Nikon COOLPIX S3000 is a 12 Megapixel compact with a 4x optical zoom and 2.7in screen. Launched in February 2010 it supersedes the popular COOLPIX S220, adding 2 Megapixels to the resolution, a bigger screen and extending the zoom mostly at the wide angle end of the range.
