Excellent Camera
Excellent camera. Bought as a present and has been greatly admired by all so far. Easy to use and the projection ability, although a bit of a novelty, has been well used showing everyone the photos taken

Nikon Coolpix S1000pj
There is no doubt that the Coolpix S1000pj is a great concept and a superb technical achievement but as a ￡400 camera the performance is pretty ordinary, not to mention the lack of manual control and HD movie recording. Nikon should also re-think some of the camera's operating processes.

Depending on how much you like viewing your photos or letting others view your photos, the Nikon Coolpix S1000pj is either really cool or a waste. The compact camera houses an ultrasmall projector able to display photos and video at sizes up to 40 inches diagonal at the press of the button.
Pros:
- Compact
- attractive body with a projector built into the front for instant slideshows up to 40 inches in size
Cons:
- Photo quality
- shooting performance
- and features are all that of a less expensive camera

Great Camera
Personally I don't think it is as delicate as the above person mentioned. It is as delicate as any other point and shoot, maybe they just said that cause it is a pretty expensive point and shoot and were being extra careful.
Pros:
- Projection system is nice
- At parties, you look awesome
- Also great for families at christmas and such when you want to show them your recent trips
- Takes great pictures, little noise
Cons:
- I wish there was a way to put your own personal videos on the device, like movies to project on the wall
- Also the battery icon is annoying, it only comes up when the battery is at half then dead.
