Great Camera
Personally I don't think it is as delicate as the above person mentioned. It is as delicate as any other point and shoot, maybe they just said that cause it is a pretty expensive point and shoot and were being extra careful.
Pros:
- Projection system is nice
- At parties, you look awesome
- Also great for families at christmas and such when you want to show them your recent trips
- Takes great pictures, little noise
Cons:
- I wish there was a way to put your own personal videos on the device, like movies to project on the wall
- Also the battery icon is annoying, it only comes up when the battery is at half then dead.

Nikon Coolpix S1000pj
There is no doubt that the Coolpix S1000pj is a great concept and a superb technical achievement but as a ￡400 camera the performance is pretty ordinary, not to mention the lack of manual control and HD movie recording. Nikon should also re-think some of the camera's operating processes.

Excellent Camera
Excellent camera. Bought as a present and has been greatly admired by all so far. Easy to use and the projection ability, although a bit of a novelty, has been well used showing everyone the photos taken

Good camera, projector is a novelty
At 12+ Mpxls this camera takes nice pictures and better than decent video. The lure of the built in projector is a nice idea, but in reality you need a good, dark room, a very stable mount or table top for the camera & a bright white background to use the projector with any decent results.

The Nikon Coolpix S1000pj is a decent point & shoot camera with a neat trick up its sleeve: a built in projector. And it's a good trick; the projector provides a whole new way to show off your photos.
