Nikon Coolpix S1000pj
Enforcing the recent view in the industry that manufacturers aren't caught up with cramming more and more pixels onto the sensor, Nikon have released the S1000pj which has a cool new feature that sets it apart from all the others.
Pros:
- Innovative idea
- Projector works on most surfaces
- in most light conditions
- Good metering capability
- Lovely colour rendition
Cons:
- Flimsy battery door
- Noise is a big problem
- CA on high contrast areas
- Portraits got a cast
- Expensive

Nikon Coolpix S1000pj
The Nikon Coolpix S1000pj is the first digital camera to have a built in projector. This gives you the opportunity to show a slideshow of your holiday snaps. It can also be used to good effect at a party too. The projector can work at a maximum distance of 6 and a half feet.
Pros:
- Ease of use - colours - picture quality - projector
Cons:
- Darkness can creep into corners when the lens is zoomed out - loss of picture sharpness in places

Great Camera
Personally I don't think it is as delicate as the above person mentioned. It is as delicate as any other point and shoot, maybe they just said that cause it is a pretty expensive point and shoot and were being extra careful.
Pros:
- Projection system is nice
- At parties, you look awesome
- Also great for families at christmas and such when you want to show them your recent trips
- Takes great pictures, little noise
Cons:
- I wish there was a way to put your own personal videos on the device, like movies to project on the wall
- Also the battery icon is annoying, it only comes up when the battery is at half then dead.

It is probably safe to start this review by saying that the Nikon Coolpix S1000pj is the one with the projector. A bold move by Nikon, perhaps, launching a device that mashes together the trend for pico projectors with a regular 12-megapixel camera.

I think this is world's first compact camera with a built-in projector, it offers an exciting way to share your photos or movie clips without the need to connect to a TV or computer.
