Another bird image
I wrote one of the first reviews for the P900 camera, with two images attached, a cruising jet and a sparrow portrait. Unfortunately, the sparrow image disappeared, I don't know when and why. to replace it, I'm attaching a recent image of a Fieldfare (Turdus pilaris), handheld, at the telephoto end.

Pros:
- Love this camera
- This is the second of these I have bought
- My wife stepped on the strap and pulled it out of her hand and smashed the first one so I bought a second immediately
- It is that good! The zoom is incredible and we can't go back to a lesser camera now
Cons:
- The only thing missing is a rubber eye piece
- I'm hoping that the new model will remedy this

poorp product, nikon did not want to honor there ...
poorp product,nikon did not want to honor there warranty,cos amazon bought it through another store,so nikon said it was bought through a third party,so they cannot honor warranty

Nikon Coolpix P900 : The camera that's all zoom
Technically impressive and capable of good results, but it isn't easy to achieve them
Pros:
- Reasonable sharpness over a huge zoom range
- Wi-Fi and GPS
Cons:
- The 2000mm zoom position is unwieldy
- Too much reliance on menu navigation
- Odd automatic ISO settings

Love it
I love this camera . I use this everyday and it amazes me . Of course at full zoom its difficult to focus unless its on a tripod and picture quality is average but to be honest you have to expect it for ￡500 with a zoon of this size.

- Not too bulky
- Simple Controls

- Slow focus
- Unsteady focus at full zoom

The first Coolpix P900 I bought on 4/23/2018 for the Pink Concert the next day. It took great long distant photos. But all the videos had a loud distorted sound over the videos. My daughter post the videos on youtube. I took my nikon L820 and the videos I took came out great.

The price of this camera is now coming down with the release of the Nikon P1000, successor to this camera. However the approximately $1,000 AUD difference in price between the too seems to suggest that the Nikon P900 is now great value with most of the capability of the new one.

Great zoom Camera
Camera was as described.But battery life ends quickly if you use zoom too often. I advise you to buy extra batteries. Ovearll I am satisfied. Shipping time was also great.

I've wanted this camera for a while now. I finally got it. It's meeting all my expectations
