Nikon Coolpix P6000 Review
Yet another prosumer/enthusiast camera review… this one is on the Coolpix P6000, Nikon's top end compact digital camera with a wide-angle lens, lots of manual controls and built-in GPS.
Cons:
- Soft images from ISO 400
- some banding from ISO 2000 onwards, Popup flash hinders holding of left side

- no viewfinder dioptric correction, Below average battery life, RAW issues: slow shooting using RAW and no bundled RAW...

Nikon's P6000 Performs Well
I purchased the P6000 as a back-up to my professional gear as well as for previewing architectural photography shoots. It is one of only a few point-and-shoot cameras that has RAW capability with a large (13.5) megapixel receptor. I like several things about the camera: 1.
Pros:
- Bright LCD
- Comfortable Controls
- Distortion Control
- Easy Setup
- Easy To Use
- Great Picture Quality
- Hot Shoe
- Simple menu structure
- Small pocket size
- Strong Construction
Cons:
- Bracketing limited
- No Cable Release

Nikon CoolPix P6000 review
The P6000, like Canon's G10, is aimed at photography enthusiasts who want something small and light for times when an SLR isn't appropriate. It looks suitably classy, feels durable and has a rubber handgrip that fits snugly in the hand.

Coolpix P6000
The Coolpix P6000 is a great little camera. The Vibration reduction feature works flawlessly. However in bright sunlight, the Monitor screen is difficult to see, and the viewfinder is somewhat small.

"I absolutely love this camera"
It took a little while to figure out all the settings because I have too much ego to read the manual but when I finally got this camera set up the way I wanted the pictures are amazing, the clarity is much better than my old 10mp camera. [...

Nikon Coolpix P6000
Boasting a built-in GPS receiver and Ethernet connectivity, this 13.5-megapixel camera is surprisingly compact. When not in use, the P6000 fits nicely into a very small shirt pocket or purse.

excellent
Really pleased with this which is a supplement to my 'Big Nikon'. Quality and features are nearly as good for most purposes. Only quibbles are - the GPS signal seems very weak and if it was a shade thinner would be more portable for pockets and carry-ons.
