Nikon CoolPix P6000
If you're a keen photographer looking for a high-spec semi-pro compact camera, your choices are rather limited. The leader in this sector of the market is the impressive 14.7-megapixel Canon PowerShot G10 (£350, review coming soon), but there are a few others.

Nikon Coolpix P6000
The Coolpix P6000 is Nikon's best attempt yet at a compact camera that's good enough for a pro photographer, but ultimately it has a few serious flaws that means it falls short.

Nikon Coolpix P6000 Digital Camera
let me start out by saying I know nothing about camera's. I am your every day user. Eric Hwang has put most of the concerns I have about this camera. I have only had this camera for about three hours now and see the power and GPS issues he talks about.

Nikon's P6000 Performs Well
I purchased the P6000 as a back-up to my professional gear as well as for previewing architectural photography shoots. It is one of only a few point-and-shoot cameras that has RAW capability with a large (13.5) megapixel receptor. I like several things about the camera: 1.
Pros:
- Bright LCD
- Comfortable Controls
- Distortion Control
- Easy Setup
- Easy To Use
- Great Picture Quality
- Hot Shoe
- Simple menu structure
- Small pocket size
- Strong Construction
Cons:
- Bracketing limited
- No Cable Release

Nikon CoolPix P6000 review
This tech-packed stunner of a bridge camera strives to offer a perfect balance between the DSLR and compact worlds.
Pros:
- Nikon's rock-solid reputation for camera gear is reflected in the P6000′s performance: this takes bright
- noise-free 13.5-megapixel photos
- whether you're the hands-on type who wants to tweak settings manually and shoot in RAW for more flexibility in post processing
- or the no-nonsense holiday-maker...
Cons:
- If we switch our own settings to nitpicking mode, we weren't particularly impressed by the tiny viewfinder, and some of the controls are unnecessarily over-fiddly
- Also, the GPS receiver can be a touch slow to grab a satellite fix

Takes very good pictures. However, it is a bit slow between the cards. Manages the white balance fine. Tar mycket bra bilder. Dock är den lite långsam mellan korten. Sköter vitbalansen bra.
