Great Camera
This camera quickly replaced a Canon SX30 I had purchased but didn't like at all. The zoom on the SX30 was nice, but the overall picture quality was terrible compared to my last Canon camera from a few years back (on auto or manual settings). That's about it.- Nice photo quality and it takes good 1080p video
- Big 26x zoom, and the camera is pretty light
- Recharges the battery through the USB port which is convenient in my book
- Big LCD screen and plenty of features
- Nice manual
- Nothing
Smaller and cheaper than a digital SLR but with performance that dwarfs a compact, the Nikon Coolpix P100 is bridge camera with 1080p HD video capability
The Nikon CoolPix P100 is a likeable superzoom camera that weighs a scant 419g (with battery) and has an incredible 26x optical zoom. It's also a 24mm wide-angle camera that can capture vast vistas - we got it to take a very broad shot of the sweep of the Thames and were impressed with the breadth...- Great video mode
- good value for money
- 26x zoom
- Tilting screen is a little stiff
- indoor shots aren't always fantastic

I was looking for a new bridge camera that would replace my Samsung nv7 ops which i traded in recently. I wanted a camera with full hd video and 10 mp camera. I found this camera very easy to use out of the box, i enjoy my photography and often use manual settings on my cameras when i can.
