The Coolpix A900

This camera is good, it's affordable and it takes really good photos. For example, the zoom is able to get some really good photos of the moon and you can edit your photos. The only downside is that sometimes the camera stuffs up.

SnapBridge was disappointed!

I just bought this camera, image quality was good. SnapBridge software was miserable. This software can only transfer 2 megapixels image to your device. The transferred image was blurred.

Nikon Coolpix A900 Review

If you're disappointed by the price point of the Nikon Coolpix A900, it's understandable. After all, a camera with a 1/2.3-inch sized image sensor and inconsistent overall image quality perhaps shouldn't have a starting price point near $400.

Nikon Coolpix A900 Review

The Nikon Coolpix A900 offers a 35x optical zoom lens, and updates the S9900 , offering a 20-megapixel sensor, 4K video, manual controls, a tilting 3inch screen, Wi-Fi, and built-in Bluetooth for low-power image transfer. The Nikon Coolpix A900 is available in black or silver.

35x optical zoom lens; Low price for a 4K capable camera; The screen tilts up and down; Bluetooth image transfer; Very good macro performance; Two control dials

Images are a little soft when viewed at 100; Focus can struggle at the telephoto end; Doesn't feature a touch-screen

Nikon Coolpix A900 Review

Long zoom ; Pocket-friendly; Tilting screen and SnapBridge;

Screen isn’t touch-sensitive, small sensor and there's no viewfinder; Low-light performance could be better ;

Using the zoom lens at full stretch means it is difficult to stop "shake"; Obviously a tripod is needed; The video switch is in a most stupid place to use easily and stop recording; Its position needs revising pdq

Would not charge battery, never turned on

Should be 0 stars. I was excited to receive my new camera but the battery would not charge and consequently the camera never even turned on! I was using the supplied AC adapter to charge the supplied battery within the camera body as instructed but it never began charging.

Great travel camera

Purchased my first Nikon (A900) August 2019 and just returned from Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The photos taken there were amazing. When we saw a herd of animals far away I used the telephoto at it's max to ensure it was bison and not cattle. These shots of the bison came out OK handheld!
