Just bought these to replace some 20 year old binoculars I had. The clarity is amazing, it's just like looking at everything in HD.

I am impressed with all the Aculons, and these are no exception. For inexpensive units they never fail to amaze me, it's true. The diopter ring is indeed rigid, but it may be a plus doing away with a locking mechanism. Optically nice, clear, crisp.

Fine item, with Nikon's renowned optics. Only improvement I'd make would be to include the tripod bracket that comes with the 'zoom' model. Also delighted with Amazon's speedy delivery.

As other reviewers have said these are not the lightest of binoculars but I bought them for their image quality for bird watching and stargazing. Last night I used them to look at Jupiter and was able to see its moons. This is from a not very dark suburban garden. I am very impressed.

I have been very pleased withe these binoculars. I have tried several others, all of which were much more expensive and none of them were as good as these. I use these for general viewing of the mountains from my patio and I find that they do a great job at distances of up to 10 miles.

This item isn't as compact as some of the newer prismatic models, but the optics are excellent and focus is easy. They also are a very good value for the price. If you're not taking them mountaineering or on a long hike where weight would be a consideration, they are a good choice.

Arrived before the promised date. Enjoy viewing. Bright image even in low light. Well packed & shipped. The binoc has a strap, would prefer a shoulder strap for the carrying case as well. Great buy.

I've been looking for a really good price/performance set of binos (went to the local Sporting goods chain) and even though I was leaning towards a more expensive brand, I chose these after having them in my hands and using them. Nikon makes really good optics for the money.
