inconsistant performance

I purchased this Wireless router DSL modem to replace my twowire wireless modem that blew its power supply. This is inferrior to the old unit in many ways. The wireless interface signal strenth and speed changes from minute to minute for no reason.

Not terrible, not fantastic.

My old Linksys WRT54G finally gave up the ghost today and I had to use the router provided by Comcast(Xfinity). I can't complain of any problems really, at least not yet, it's only been about 18 hours, I can only say that the thing is kind of cheaply constructed.

Simple to set up; inexpensive (free with Xfinity package deals)

Cheap construction; not the best range; kind of flimsy

A simple Netgear 802.11n router with a built in ADSL2+ modem

The Netgear N150 Wireless Modem Router DGN1000 is a simple ADSL2+ modem/router with an 802.11n wireless access point. It also has four 10/100 Ethernet ports, a built-in firewall, parental filters and it even has physical buttons for controlling the state of the wireless network.

Useful keyword and URL filtering; good download speed

Forwarding ports can be a little confusing at first

Netgear N150 Wireless Router review

A perfect upgrade to an aging ADLS router like the TP-Link W8961ND , this Netgear N150 Wireless ADSL2+ Modem Router DGN1000 is firmly aimed at the budget ADSL market, but hopefully without any of the horrible shortcomings the TP-Link suffered from.

Easy set up wizard for beginners and, like the old DG834s, manual setup for the more advanced user. Good low cost package for home use and wireless for 1 or 2 adjacent rooms.

Great router for the price.

THis is a great router for home use as well as business. It is easy to understand and makes things easier as you get use to it. There is a toll free number you can call if you have problems and customer service personal are great. Good purchase for the buck.
