When I sat down to write the review for Shift 2: Unleashed , I couldn't think of what I wanted to write. Nothing I put down really was able to convey what I wanted to say. So, I figured there was only one recourse: AUDIO REVIEW TIME!!!!!!
on PlayStation 3. While it surpasses these two juggernauts in some areas, it can't match them in terms of realism and depth. Crucial features of a great driving simulator such as being able to call in for a pit stop when your tires are badly worn or dealing with rainy conditions have been left out.
Great graphics Sweet cars Good steering wheel support You can play it forever
Some features are a little confusing; but usually a pretty intuitive game
I will keep this review nice and simple so basiacally: Gameplay - the all new "helmet cam" which shows the action from a drivers perspective is a very good idea, it makes the racing experience that little bit more realistic and harder but if you dont like hard racing games then u can always switch...
Helmet cam is awesome; amazing sound
poor handling
Très bon jeux
The game of speed is having high racing cars, break-neck driving and chase for winning the championship. The game has all set of modern cars with unique features. As a gamer you can choose your car and your track for the game.
Realistic looks, dramatic feel, amped up soundtrack, and filled to the grill with adrenaline, this game makes you feel less like a race car driver and more like a pilot. Gamereactor's number one petrolhead has taken Shift 2: Unleashed for a spin or two. Or 756 spins. Who's counting anyway?
Shift 2: Unleashed is a highly challenging and exciting racing game which improves greatly on its predecessor. New features, such as the first-person helmet cam and the reworked graphics engine, make the driving seat a more thrilling place to be than it was in the first game.
Immersive first-person experience in helmet cam; Big graphical improvements; AutoLog creates lots of competition with friends; Fast-paced Career mode
Handling can be extremely unpredictable; GT3 & GT1 championships are not entirely authentic
