For many racing game enthusiasts, each of the major brands are defined by their feel , rather than the swathes of licensed content that pepper press releases and official trailers.

The long-running (-out-of-steam) Need for Speed racing game series from EA has enjoyed a serious overhaul and emerged as good, solid, head-wobbling fun in Shift 2: Unleashed.

Impressive effort with a few noticeable problems holding it back. Won't astound everyone, but is worth most people's time and cash.

I will keep this review nice and simple so basiacally: Gameplay - the all new "helmet cam" which shows the action from a drivers perspective is a very good idea, it makes the racing experience that little bit more realistic and harder but if you dont like hard racing games then u can always switch...

Overall Shift 2 is an excellent racing game that really tries to throw you behind the wheel of a professional driver. With great graphics minus a few debris issues and impressive car mechanics, Shift 2 will challenge the best of drivers during the single player campaign and online.

Drifting is really frustrating until mastered; Online driving is infuriating at times; A few bugs here and there

on some level this one is better than GT5. better in cockpit view, better damage models. all the details makes the whole driving experience more realistic.

Shift 2 is a sequel to the hit game Need for speed shift in 2009.It took every one by storm by not having street racing which i like and put in event racing. Ok no more talk about the first game lets talk about this game.

The main concern about this game is that it takes a lot of tweaking to get it working properly. I have never played it with a controller so I cannot comment about how it drives with one, but with a wheel one has to do many adjustments to get it to feel correct.
