Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is a whirlwind of mayhem wrapped in a rich legacy of a treasured anime and it never stops for breath. You get to fight in glorious detail with an incredible se
Amazing looking; A great flow and fluidity; Tons of varied modes
Very confusing for newcomers; Cutscenes are too long
Even if you haven't read or watched Naruto, you probably know the name; it's the third best selling manga of all time (thanks Wikipedia). As far as the videogames go, it's one of those series that has yet to enjoy chart-shattering success, but has built up a dedicated and hugely enthusiastic...
Saint Seiya, Dragon Ball Z, One Piece, Bleach, and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure are some of the Japanese animated series that have been treated to multiple video game adaptations, with varying degrees of success.
I have to say, this is a fantastic new take on the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm series. The game looks, feels, and plays perfectly pristine. Beautiful.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is another solid game in this series!
Full disclosure: My understanding of anime and manga, much less Naruto specifically, is limited to game releases and my friends discussing their favorite moments. As such, I'm no expert, but I volunteered because I wanted to approach this review without letting fandom color my evaluation.
An absolutely gorgeous replication of a deep anime universe
Online matchmaking turned my Elite controller into a pricey shotput
