Tekken 6

To a generation of fighting gamers, the Tekken series has been one of the best in the genre. Like the prior installments in the series, Tekken 6 features a cast of characters that are gathered together to fight in a tournament to determine a champion.

Solid installment in the; Tekken; series; Good graphics; Smooth offline controls and framerate; Deep move and combo system

Online mode extremely laggy; Azazel is a cheap final boss that saps fun out of the game; Scenario Campaign mode is a missed opportunity; Lack of co-op in Scenario Campaign mode; Extremely high learning curve with only basic tools to self-teach you the game

Tekken 6

Like many protagonists in bare-knuckle brawling games, I've often considered myself an ice-cold merciless fist-fighter with a disarming honesty. Furthermore, I also suffer from sporadic amnesia, like Lars from Tekken 6.

Negatives? Not many; Sometimes switching targets in Scenario campaign can be hackneyed and the story is fairly forgettable; There's also a lot of loading screens and some people will not find the controls to their liking, and it could be argued that the online mode isn't ideal for Australian gamers...

Fighting This morning's edification. I have always had a thing for the Tekken series. Tekken 2 was the first game I brought for my Playstation 2 (along with Ridge Racer Revolution and some horrid Sony basketball game) and loved playing it with friends and would become a multiplayer staple of our...

Tekken 6

Randolph Ramsay takes on the Mishimas in this Tekken 6 video review. A few months after its release, Tekken 6 was updated to support online co-op play in a truncated version of the new Scenario Campaign mode. For more information, check out our reviews blog entry on the subject.

Fighting is fun; fast; and tight; Great training options; Plenty of characters; Wealth of customisation options; In-depth Scenario Campaign mode

No offline Scenario Campaign two-player mode; Long load times; Online can be patchy

Tekken 6

Tekken 6 continues on with the main tradition that has made it one of the most successful fighting franchises to date. Fights are always one vs. one. The core roster has remained intact and as per usual, there are new additions.

Tekken 6

2009 is unquestionably the year of the fighting game.  With no less than eight major fighting games arriving on consoles this year, we've seen more hyper-combos, barrier-bursts, critical finishers, snapback attacks, juggle combos, and deadlocks than ever before.

Tekken 6 Reviewed

This generation has seen a resurgence of the fighting game genre. Once seen as a dying breed, it has managed to become relevant again with many great games appearing such as Virtua Fighter 5 and Street Fighter 4.

Tekken 6 Review

Fighting game fans already know the score. Tekken 6, finally console bound after living it up in arcades (beginning in Japan in 2007) for a while now, has also made its leap from seminal Sony exclusivity with a foray onto the Xbox 360.

Tekken 6 Review

Despite some niggling imperfections, Tekken 6 is the best entry yet in the series and certainly worth your fighting game dollar.
