NBA Playgrounds is an arcade basketball game out now on Nintendo Switch. It offers two versus two basketball matches with any combination of your favourite players. You unlock new players by opening card packs, earned by levelling up.

2K Sports is getting absolutely brazen with their community, testing the limits of what they'll put up with in terms of microtransactions in 2K18. Thankfully it doesn't persist into every mode, because there's a lot of good ones to compliment the excellent gameplay and presentation.

This is a truly amazing Switch port. I downloaded it on day one and have put in over 30 hours so far. Amazing graphics and gameplay and truly no shortcuts have been taken to bring it to the Switch. It puts Fifa to shame.
