don't buy if only interested in career mode. If the server or internet drop at all you lose all your progress. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten to the last minute of the game and then i lose everything.

Great service from Tesco being delivered for free to my local shop. This version works really well on Switch, really impressed with it, would recommended it.
I already have the ps4 version, which is technically superior. However i can't easily bring my ps4 to a waiting room or the toilet...
This review isnt because of the switch... this game I have played on both ps4 and nintendo switch and i have to say it us such a broken basketball game that uts borderline ridiculous.
I've really enjoyed it. Yes there's been annoying bugs, but most have now been ironed out apart from a few (none of which are game breakers). Gameplay and graphics are decent and overall it's been an enjoyable game to play. Currently 65+ hours put into the game...
Note: We originally posted our NBA 2K18 review last month but the game was essentially broken, with a number of serious game-affecting bugs. It was so severe that we were unable to give the game a score, because we considered it incomplete.
This is a truly amazing Switch port. I downloaded it on day one and have put in over 30 hours so far. Amazing graphics and gameplay and truly no shortcuts have been taken to bring it to the Switch. It puts Fifa to shame.
Nintendo console owners who enjoy sports sims have rarely had the chance to scratch that itch on the company's recent platforms. Outside of some first-party arcade sports games, options on the Wii and Wii U ranged between subpar to nonexistent.
is a brilliantly flawed basketball game held back by its blatant product placement and a career mode centred on aggressive microtransactions.
I really admire Visual Concepts' tenacity. Year after year, they try to blow the doors off sports gaming with an amazing basketball sim-one that raises the bar and gets EA scrambling to keep up. Of the Big Three sports sims-NBA 2K, Madden, and FIFA-NBA 2K is easily the most ambitious.
