Based on the marketing thus far, you'd be forgiven if you thought NBA 2K11 was just a gushy love letter to Michael Jordan. Well, it definitely is that, but there is a lot more here than just a tribute to his Airness. The A.I. has been greatly improved. The presentation is better.

NBA 2K11 is, without question, the best basketball video game to date. 2K has taken its proven system and improved it in almost every area. It's not without its flaws, but few games are. Add MJ to the mix, and you've got a fantastic experience all-around.

If you're anything like me, you can remember the good old days of basketball video games. I'm from the Windy City, so the Bulls were my team of choice. I'd fire up a game, and be greeted to the starting lineups: Luc Longley, Dennis Rodman, Ron Harper, Scottie Pippen, and – drum roll… Player 45!

NBA 2k11
NBA 2k11 has really improved from 2K10 with its great online features and the reason why i play this is because of its FLAWLESS My Player mode. I also love the great late game moments. My only concern was the Jordan challenge. It was extremely hard to finish it!

I give this one 5 stars and a "must buy" status if you are a basketball fan. Even if you aren't, it is worth a look simply to enjoy some of the most sparkling sports gameplay of recent times ... and for the faithful reproductions of MJ, the Bulls and some vintage NBA players and teams.

Best basketball game ever made
NBA2k11 is just simple the best basketball game ever made, period. Not sure why gamespot gave it only an 8 because if you read the user reviews and other player reviews it is at least a 9/10, if not a 9.5 The AI has improved greatly compared to other games, now you can't just do the same movements...

great nba game with MJ
Really nice game, you feel like your watching it live, playing classic MJ game is great, custom shoes, custom free throw style, ball handling, move, dunk, dunk contest, special event during the season etc. It is great.
