With some key gameplay changes and the addition of Michael Jordan, NBA 2k11 proves to be a great experience

As the game loads, you're automatically placed into a game for the ages, the 2010 world champion LA Lakers vs. the all-star Chicago Bulls line up led by Michael Jordan. You can choose to play this game, or just exit to the menu and check out the other new features added to the game.

Who could have ever imagined that Michael Jordan would be the weak link on the basketball court? The six-time NBA champion makes his surprising return to the virtual court in NBA 2K11, but his presence is overshadowed by improvements in just about every other facet of this great round-ball...
Pros:
- Overhauled controls give you a wide assortment of offensive moves
- Outstanding presentation
- Improved AI on both ends of the court
- Classic teams bring back fond memories
Cons:
- Online play suffers from lag
- Replaying Michael Jordan's best games isn't much fun

The game overall is a great game but not worth 5 stars because of the online modes. They just take too long to find a game and even when you do they do not last the full game. They need to fix their servers and then it will be a 5 star game.

NBA 2K11 Is Great!
This fun basketball game is worth the money. It is great when playing against a friend that is next to you. The graphics are good; the commentary gets boring over time, same old same old. I really like all the jersey options that they make available for every team.

2K Sports moet het dit jaar opnemen tegen niemand minder dan… Ja wie eigenlijk? De concurrentie is helemaal verdwenen omdat EA beslist heeft om hun NBA game te annuleren na slechte kritieken op de demo.

This game really was a big let down for me, and it took me several hours of frustrating gameplay to nail down what bothered me so much about it. I'm a long standing fan of the NBA Live series, but thought I would give 2k 11 a chance.

Awful
Im new to this game type only got it because i enjoyed NFL games but this was a mistake, the game is shocking unless you actually follow the sport. Defence? what defence? shooting is horrid unless your the computer. Im obviously doing something wrong because a game cannot be this bad..

NBA 2K11 is a huge improvement over last year's edition. Just about every facet has been improved or overhauled, which makes this a richly rewarding experience with enough depth to make even diehard NBA fans feel like rookies.
