Motorola RAZR V3i

Review A manufacturer with one of the most popular mobiles on the market has a problem when it comes to updating the phone: just how do you improve a product without ruining it? In the case of the V3, Motorola has obviously decided the way forward is to leave well alone, only pausing to correct a...

Motorola V3i (Dolce & Gabbana)

The Dolce & Gabbana RAZR is a largely uninspiring release considering it doesn’t offer any new features or include basic accessories. If you’re after a fashion statement though, you’ll be impressed. Motorola produced a great phone in the RAZR V3, and now they are capitalising on that success with a limited edition fashion release: A Dolce & Gabbana RAZR V3i. This new handset retains the same features seen in the RAZR V3i but adds a vibrant gold and silver colour scheme, engraved Dolce & Gabbana logo and included pendant featuring Dolce & Gabbana initials.
Pros:
  • Fashion appeal, Limited edition release, Vibrant colour scheme, Included pendant
Cons:
  • No additional features, Accessories all extra, Price

Good Phone

The first RAZR was good but the updated version (V3r)is much better the updated camera and software is top of the line. This phone I would recommend to anyone. And the music storage and playback is awesome. I have a 2GB Micro-SD card and have plenty of space for pics, music, and videos.

Motorola RAZR V3i review

For many, the original RAZR was the first phone they'd seen in a long time that looked interesting. At less than 14mm thick, the RAZR V3i is certainly slim, but up close, it's not quite as well designed as the advertising may have led you to believe.

Motorola Razr V3im

This phone is by far the best phone I have owned, I absolutly love it. I think the 100 song limit is a bit of a disappointment, but I can live with it I'm sure. People have told me if I owned the other I wouldn't see much difference but who cares.
Pros:
  • Basically everything..
Cons:
  • The 100 song limit

Motorola RAZR V3i

Much like a stale piece of last year's birthday cake dressed up with a fresh dollop of whipped cream, the Motorola RAZR V3i is a lame attempt to disguise an old product with new fixings.
Pros:
  • Pretty
  • Decent battery life
Cons:
  • Audio problems
  • Confusing, limited software
  • Slow music transfers

I love the size of the thing and its so easy to use. I have had motorola for work and myself for 5 years so I am used to the menus. I find the PC backup to be great - when it works, which is far from always. Luckily just backed it up before it crashed on me.
Pros:
  • Small size
  • big screen
  • good camera
Cons:
  • Replacement has just started giving problems - cutting off calls

Motorola RAZR V3i

Motorola's original RAZR V3 caused quite a stir. It looked like nothing we'd seen before and proved hugely successful, despite a low feature spec. Not a company to sit on its laurels, some of the design elements of the RAZR have appeared in subsequent handsets, such as those in the candybar SLVR and...
Pros:
  • Design still looks good
  • Decent quality music playback
  • Very light
  • Syncs music with iTunes
  • Motorola bundles a 512MB microSD card
Cons:
  • Number pad not ideal for texting
  • Camera stills only average in quality
  • Limit on iTunes song capacity
  • Outer and inner screens mediocre
