Motorola Moto Z2 Play Smartphone Dual SIM 64GB - Lunar Grey
The ONLY bad thing about this phone is how it lights up if it senses ANY movement nearby. Other than that, it's amazing. Easy to use and see the screen, very quick, heaps of storage!

Lenovo-owned Motorola made a significant mark on the smartphone industry last year when it brought its take on modular smartphones to the world. Very different from the concept-like ways of Project Ara but definitely better implemented than LG's half-baked attempts with the G5 , the Moto Mods that...

With the Moto Z2 Play, Motorola is still on the path it started last year. The new model is slimmer, but at the cost of battery capacity. Dropping the battery size for aesthetics might not have been the best idea because Motorola has weakened one of the Z Play's best attributes.

Last year Motorola launched two modular flagships, the Moto Z and Moto Z Play. The former was a premium high-end device, and the later was a functional low-cost variant meant for anyone willing to experience modular convenience without spending a high-end price.

Moto Z2 Play review: Midnight in the garden of good and sequel
Motorola went iterative for its Moto Z Play sequel, announcing it just nine months after the original. It's not a complete overhaul, and in two major ways is a downgrade, but it's also one of the most well-rounded and enjoyable-to-use Android phones on the market.
Pros:
- Excellent performance
- Beautifully made and well-designed
- Good battery life
- Commendable camera quality
- Moto Mods support
Cons:
- Higher price than its predecessor
- Choice of aging processor isn't great
- Worse battery life than previous generation

Motorola Moto Z2 Play

But for as nice as the idea is, actually making modular smartphones work is an uphill battle, and even giants like Google have looked long and hard at such projects before eventually declaring, “Nope!”But last year Lenovo-owned Motorola did the impossible, and launched not just a modular smartphone, but a whole family of both modular phones and the modules that attach to them: the Moto Mods. We were promised that this wouldn't be a one-shot phenomenon, and this year they're indeed back, as we get a new phone and some new Moto Mods add-ons. Last year's Moto Z Play was widely considered as one of the best devices in the company's line up. A perfect balance between performance and stellar battery life, the phone also served as a showcase for the Moto Mod ecosystem at a lower price point.
