Motorola Moto E (2015) review
At the back end of February this year, as I was packing my bag for MWC 2015, Motorola delivered a surprise package to TechRadar towers. Quite like a child abandoned on an orphanage's doorstep, there was a small box waiting for us when we got to work and upon bringing it into the warmth we found it...

Moto E has remained the most sold smartphone from Motorola ever. So a sequel was due. And it has come, after 2nd generation releases of Moto G and Moto X. It has come with a similar price, shape and network capabilities.
Pros:
- Marvelous ergonomic design
- Active display
- Good battery backup
- Better loudspeakers
Cons:
- Cameras still a letdown
- No Flash
- Core performance could have been better

Motorola Moto E review
Featuring above average internal specifications traditionally seen only on smartphones close to twice as expensive, and an all but untouched version of Android, the Moto G (2013) was one of a select few smartphones to achieve V3 's five-star rating.
Pros:
- Android 5.0 Lollipop
- affordable
- reasonable performance
- decent design
Cons:
- Camera is average
- only 8GB of storage

Motorola Moto E (2015) review
Motorola has improved on the original Moto E in almost every area, while giving it a little extra style too. While the screen could be better, for £109, the the 2015 Moto E is a solid budget blower that performs well and looks good doing it too.

Motorola Moto E (2015) review
Crunch . That's the sound of glass doing a belly-flop on concrete. A couple of months ago, I heard it for the first time. After a long night of Dungeons & Dragons and bar-hopping, I got to my front door, reached for the keys in my pocket, and instead fumbled a Nexus 5 to the sidewalk.
Pros:
- Still an insane bargain
- Pleasing to look at and hold
- Runs Android competently
Cons:
- Camera is pure garbage
- Display still below average

Motorola on Tuesday launched the new 3G-capable Moto E in India, called the Motorola Moto E (Gen 2) , at Rs. 6,999. The smartphone was first unveiled last month. A 4G LTE variant dubbed the Motorola Moto E (Gen 2) 4G , which was unveiled at the same time, will be launched in India later, said...

Motorola Moto E (2015) review: The budget phone to beat
The original Motorola Moto E is an awesome budget smartphone, but largely because, at £89, it's so cheap. Its follow-up, the second-generation 2015 model, makes a few nips and tucks to the original's design principles, adds a slightly bigger screen and faster 4G connectivity too.
Pros:
- Better looking thanks to new colour accent ‘Bands'
- Android Lollipop experience
- ample processing power
- improved battery life
- adds a front camera
- microSD
Cons:
- Still has one (rather than two) ugly metal bars on the front
- non-removable battery
- a bit too chunky in today's market
- poor camera experience

Motorola Moto E (2015) review: Lollipop and 4G on a budget
The Moto E (2015) updates last year's version of the phone in some important areas, boosting the processing power and updating to Android Lollipop. It did, however, neglect doing much to upgrade the woeful front and rear cameras on the 2014 model.
Pros:
- Great processing power for the price
- Clever
- dinky design
- Can handle some good 3D gaming
- Android Lollipop
Cons:
- Small
- low-resolution screen
- Poor front and rear cameras
- A bit on the chubby side

Motorola Moto E 4G review
The new Moto E 4G is a worthy upgrade over the original Moto E, with upgrades in every area. For an extra £20 it adds 4G LTE connectivity and a front-facing camera, plus performance and storage improvements. It might not be as fast as the grey-market Doogee F1 Turbo Mini, but this Moto E 4G is a much better deal than the EE Kestrel, making it the best budget 4G phone intended for UK sale we've seen.
