A Deadly Alliance Of Old And New
Goro is prominently used in game modes as an A.I. character, but he isn't included as a part of the base game. He's on the character select screen, but this serves only as a tease for the premium DLC.

Mortal Kombat X review
There's so much content here, with Mortal Kombat X doing a great job of offering an accessible and challenging fighting experience for a genre novice. It's not ground-breaking, but it services the audience while offering enough fresh and varied content and characters to entice newcomers to the fold.
Pros:
- + Iconic brutality
- + Dynamic modes
- variety & content
- + Slick
- tight gameplay
- + "Good vs evil" story is laughably good
Cons:
- - Textures lose pizazz in transition from cutscene to battle
- - "Good vs evil" story is laughably bad
- - Quicktime events

Mortal Kombat X Review – Gruesome, Gory and Worthy of All the Pre-Release Hype
There are only a small number of video game franchises that strike me with nostalgia and Mortal Kombat is certainly one of them. Picking up the controller I am almost instantly transported back to my 14 year old self. I'm in a dark arcade mercilessly yelling ‘FINISH HIM!
