The original Mirror's Edge was one of my very favorite games of the last generation. It was a different type of game in a time where multiplayer shooters

Far better story development and narrative than the original; Beautiful art style; Plenty to do in this game

Running in the open world never reaches its potential; Forced combat sequences are repetitive and frustrating; Technical/Graphical issues pop-up quite often

The original Mirrors Edge was ahead of its time, providing a first person free running experience before its best features were adapted (albeit often in reduced form) across almost all modern FPS games.

Get ready to step back into the well-worn sneakers of City of Glass runner Faith Connors once again with Mirror's Edge: Catalyst , the follow up to 2008's underrated free-running action game.

Faith's iconic red shoes run across the shiny rooftops of Glass. She's ducking under pipes, jumping over fences and dodging KrugSec guards while maintaining full speed. The red smokey line in front of her suggests that we continue through the red door, but we know a shortcut.

Overall great game, the story was significant to the game and very few bugs/glitches. Graphics and music are especially great. Great value for money.

An awesome experience, now make it VR please!!

Just isn't very fun to play. I did all the side missions and beat the game in about a day or so just to be done with it. If you're curious, I say try it, but don't look for a masterpiece in this.

The staples of Mirror's Edge remain refreshing and unique in the first-person genre in 2016, but Catalyst's attempts to keep up with the open-world Joneses don't always jive with its design strengths of movement and momentum.

If you and your friends spent a late night recounting the great games of 2008, Mirror's Edge would likely feature somewhere in that conversation. It was a monumental title, back when shooting things in the face was fast becoming the norm.

After years of pleading, fans including myself finally got their wish…a new Mirror's Edge. The original was a great game, even if it didn't quite live up to the hype. Catalyst is more of a prequel as it serves up Faith's origin story, explaining how she became a runner, what happened to her family...
